I think the MB definitely helped! I got everything I wanted except the brash busted rapier hilt, which I hear a lot of other people didn't see either, so I can't be too upset about that. And I snagged some older items from the Freyalise shop so maybe next year I can get that hilt lmao

I literally did not restock one single item from Freyalise. Not one. I clicked a couple (even seeing something in there was rare) but didn't get them. But I got almost all the new items either from Carl, the Mystery Box, or by just biting the bullet and buying a few of the rare things (the worst was that Spiketail beanbag, that stung a bit to shell out for). Overall, I'm quite content though, because the items are beautiful and the achievements plentiful. Always delighted to get more octopuses/squid/cuttlefish items! Now, on to the next event! A beer, please!

that long ago? Man, I should just check the mystery box every day from now on.... That being said, I also got pretty much everything, save for a few items. Just from Carl and buying them. So I'm not complaining.
It was the Mystery box shop on the 24th. I wasn't able to snag the Angel and Jamie merbabys, but I got almost everything else off my wishlist.

Another successful KH! I got everything I wanted, mostly from restocking, but with a little extra help from trades and quests. Always nice to stretch the restocking muscles.
mm. i'm still missing a few plushies and duplicates for treasures but otherwise i had a pretty nice haul(iday), hah.

I realize it's because they had higher rarities, and it doesn't seem unreasonable for some of the items to end up selling for a few million each. But 100 mil, really? I don't know how many copies actually went out and were used because it's a book and achievement item, but for some reason that one in particular is just super crazy compared to everything else.
I was going to do a little mini-event, but decided to do the Mystery Box instead for this year (which honestly you'd get more items from that than what I was originally planning). Next year, we'll have more time to lore out a little thing with the cubs etc.
did you literally get nothing? Or literally get nothing rare? Some of us could help you with common things if you literally got nothing....
The other items are more reasonable because they were much lower rarity than the book (and some of the other things I made r80+). I made the majority of the pirate items r73 and below, so they restocked more + had a higher rate out of the Mystery Box. Carl isn't weighted one way or another, so you had an equal chance of getting something retired or high rarity from him as a lower rarity item.
There were only THREE things I did not get (that I wanted) and hopefully one of those I can bargain for? Not bad! Crazy, but not bad. Last year I desperately wanted a Willet and people were SO generous, and people's sweat generosity gave me hope for humanity lol. <3 I ALSO feel like it's a relief to be free from this event while at the same time oooh, what's the next event?? :D
I always find this holiday frustrating, but the items being in the mystery box definitely helped! Hope it's like that next year as well haha!
Wow... I got nothing this year... and I thought I read there would be something beside shopping happening during Keel... Oh well.
The only thing I do kind of wish is that some of the more rare items had been released a bit more.
I don't see why this book should be selling in shops for nearly 100 mil when most of the other items were more reasonable prices...
I'm not really sure what you mean? Sometimes challengers give out the same loot as they have before, especially if the old items have gotten kind of pricey.
Wish old Pirate Challenger Loot would have been addressed. Or at least retired.
