Ah, ok! So it's similar to the Neopets spotlight kinda thing. I thought it would be cool to have them even more similar is all, I wasn't sure if this was much different. Still super neat to have a whole news post for something like a pet you worked hard on, must make a person feel pretty great.

Am I the only one to have the impression that paint brush is going straight to one of the Keeto's whiskers? Like, if it was the thing causing the fur to pop that way?

I perhaps need some sleep.

It's sort of a competition. It makes people who work hard on making profiles, stories, etc. for their pets good when they achieve the spotlight. It's great to have a news post for it. :) No need to move it to the sidebar where people aren't as likely to see it and it won't be acknowledged. Having it in a news post allows people to comment on the win and congratulate the winner.

It's a nice, positive thing that doesn't need to be changed. The news posts can easily be ignored if you don't like them.

What's the purpose of pet spotlight btw? Is it a contest or just something to make people feel good for a day? Either way we need a widget at the side of the home screen, I think that would be much nicer than a new news story about a new pet every little while. xD

Love the art and overlay! Spectrum keetos are a great choice for artist pets - that's what I picked for mine, too. :)

Aw thank you everyone! I'm so happy to see Beckah win. I wasn't expecting this! Now I need to get back to working on my other pets, shew as my last finished one lol
