Bug Catching!

Hey guys! You should all visit my friend Alma at Delphi Beach and help her find a cool bug or two. She’ll be around for most of the summer, so make sure to visit her daily.

In the spirit of bug catching, I’ve got a few new bugs that are exclusive prizes from my quests.

Last night I was a chicken trying to catch a beetle with a cup and sliding a piece of paper underneath it to let it out of the house. Today I am freaking out over how awesome these virtual bugs are. Can the banana split butterfly become a real thing.

Quentin gives away the best things~ ❤️ "Ooooohhh! Wonder what this becomes when it matures." A big, purple, multi-horned beetle, I hope! :D (maybe it just turns into the Rift Beetle? dark matter? rift? it's all the same~)

The Banana Split Butterfly's appearance as a tasty treat would seem to be counterproductive to the advancement of its species, unless that's just a ruse for a larger organism to eat it and then unknowingly proceed to incubate its eggs in their digestive tract until they hatch and eat their way out of their host like wasp larvae. ... Excuse me while I just nope my way on out of here.

The bugs in the news post are for Quentin’s Quest. If we added new bugs to Alma’s, we would’ve said. :)

The achievement for bug catching is for getting all 30, I didn’t want to add new ones and make that achievement higher for people (which would be unfair since previously people were able to get it at 30).

Memo to myself: Do not ask stupid questions before drinking a pot of coffee.

: Ignore previous questions. I've found Alma at Delphi Beach, clicked on her and got a bug request. My bug was right there so now I have a problem. When I logged in a bug was on the news page so I clicked it. Now I have 2 bugs for today. What do I do with the second one? (I was able to add her to my bookmarks.)

YAY for bugs again! I have a couple of questions though ... would it be possible to put Alma in Bookmarks? They're not there right now so I can't add it. She'll go off the main news page in a few days and then it will be difficult to find her. Is she tucked away somewhere on the site map? Thanks!

Oh my GOSH that Carrion Mantis and Rift Beetle... so precious! Good gosh I love all of these adorable bugs so much. ;w; I NEED ALL OF THEM AHHH. I frickin' love insects and tiny critters so much. This is the best. ;w;

lol, I can't believe Alma remembered that I didn't get to finishing hunting for a Bright Green Grasshopper last year, or that she let me finish it this year! Or that I literally found out about bug hunt being a thing again by stumbling over a grasshopper on the very first page I visited today. Anyway, yay for Bug Hunting!
