Peka Park Food Fest: End!

We hope you enjoyed the Peka Park Food Fest! The food trucks have closed up shop and the community bowl is off limits. Don’t worry, we won’t make you eat the concoction you all made.

With the festival being over, it’s time to announce the winners of The Great Subetan Bakeoff!

We had so many great entries that we decided to use the top five entries instead of three. The winners are as follows:

1. with their Bumbus Honeycomb Cake
2. with their Skewered Pastries
3. with their Zasaba Wing Cookies
4. with their Marshmallow Spaceship Cake
5. with their Burger Cake

Note to winners: You'll receive your CSC and a copy your item once the winning items have been added to the site. We’ll also be contacting you about possible recipe ideas for Fantine!

Will the food trucks be back next summer? I haven't been able to get on lately and missed most of their items. Plus the idea is just so fun and summery!

Are we going to see what the ultimate cake looked like? I presume it would take a long time to bake due to it's size. Also, I think it would be cool to have some sort of weird concoction of a cake item. :)

They were posting news about the event for the last week. Bird watching ended a few days after it started, but the trucks were definitely there on the Peka Park map for most of us. It looked like this for the last week.

Wait, there was a site event in Peka Park? I went there for my bird watching dailies and never saw any food trucks. Where was this? I just thought it was a site contest, I didn't know there was an event all about buying and feeding your pet tons of fast food for achievements. I guess I shouldn't be surprised, considering the focus on fast food all month. Was this this year's summer event? That's kinda disappointing, usually there is something bigger and longer than this.

Wow, I'm glad I ended up going through with my idea even though I almost didn't last minutes cus I wasn't sure it fit the theme well enough! Thanks so much for your votes and comments, it means a lot to me! <3 (PS. the cookies are really hard to eat because the cookie is soft and the candy is hard and sticks to your teeth! But quite tasty) Congrats to the other winners, I love all of them! And everyone else who made entries, you are amazing as well! My favourites were the subeta cakes... whoever made them, ilu.

It was my first time for this event, and I had a lot of fun with it all. I love the secret food aspect too and getting items that were wearable when we threw things into the cake bowl. I really want that pizza cake, but none are for sale. Also, I agree with others that I definitely would want an inedible slop cake! :D Congrats to the winners of the contest!

Wow I didn't think my entry would place so well...
