My family's been praying for everyone there. I hope people can pull together and stop the suffering that is going on there.

I felt so bad hearing about it o.o Even (as strange as it sounds) it effects one of my favorite shows...one of the wrestler's i like, his dad was in their. His city has been destroyed, and Im hoping he is okay, as well as everyone else down there.

Ok, I made a comment earlier last night in the Shout Box. I didn't realize that I could make one here. Just wanted to say whoever was responsible (I'm sure it was a colaboration) for this posting in the NeWs is very thoughtful. I live in mississippi and luckly my town wasn't hit that bad. One of my best friends lives on the coast and his house is gone. Its a terrible thing. There have been people coming through my town trying to get back to the coast just to look for lost family and friends. 
I haven't heard from my friend, i dont even know if he is alive. I want to go and help search for people, but they will not allow us down there right now. Im praying for the best. Thanks subeta for support, America deff. needs it right now!

I was soo glad to click on my comp this morning and see this post. The world is a changin' and times are tough. Just when you think all hope is lost....kindess, peace, love, and brotherhood come crawling out of disaster. It just goes to show...you can hurt us but, you can never distroy us. Because, of our ability to reach out from all over the world and help one another we shall always prevail. New Oreleans and everyone else knocked to their foundation shall rebuild and become stronger.
Thoughts and prayers for all of those impacted by Katrina, people, and animals as well, but esp those who are trapped, sick, injured. It's heartbreaking...

This showed up just at the switch to a new month on the credit card so I have money now smiles. I'm going to help, they need the money and the people... I just wish those that had the ability to leave had left when they told them too.
I think this is a wonderful idea, to put this in the news. I was wondering if it was going to be mentioned about it. I can't really say anything apart from everyone else, but I know I wish the best of luck, fast recovery and the suffering to ease soon, it was horrable what happend, and I send them all my prayers.

Neing in onna the neiboring states, we're defiantly effected by this...not as much as they are...but we do have quite a lot going on in our state. Though my music teachers grew up there, and his familt lived there...and he doesn't think they got out in time D:

I would like to say something about this tragedy but i can't find any words to express it. All that I can say is a feel deeply sorry for anybody who has been affected and my thoughts and payers are with all of you.

I had Vistsited N.O. this Spring as a class trip, and I was amazed at how beautiful the city was with all the old buildings, it saddens me to see most of them gone now. But, my thoughts go out to every one down there, and the people who were affected.

This was the worse thing I have seen in a while. I live in Nashville Tennessee,and I thought it was extremely bad here when it had hit us knocking down random things,knocking out the power for a while. I knew we didn't get the worse part of it, but I knew it must have been worse for New Orleans. Many families are coming to Nashville to New Orleans,and the hotels are so greedy here they are just giving them a dicount? Where are these people going to find the money..for just a dicount? We have already had 20 kids inroll in my highschool. I know one at the moment from which I help with her school suppiles and things. I have plenty I can give up some of my binders and folders for them. Bush knew this was all coming yet..He didn't nothing at all to help those people get out of there! He waits till the last moment to get in there and help..
