Anyways I still want revamps to be done, even if I dislike one or the other, and this is a good one. I kinda agree that the fourth leg is odd not to be seen (can someone kinda redline where it would be if we had x-ray vision?) and the snout is... yeah what? I can't pinpoint it, but the snout is what I generrally dislike about the whole Montre revamp. Still, the art needed an update and this has wonderful shading and coloring and I guess the pose looks more natural. Also the fire is so much better!

I love how natural the new one seems. At first I didn't know it I would like it. But the more I look at it, the more I like it.
I like the face a lot better in the old one. It's really noticeable how long the new snout is when you compare them. The new fire is nice though! I also agree, I think we should be able to see something of the fourth leg/foot :) I still like my Reborn Montre but will be keeping the old art as it fits her personality better, I think. The old one looked like it was sort of wary, while the new one looks more sly/cunning.

Some people mention that is has three legs but I think it's perfectly believable to assume it's hidden behind the front legs, his hind legs are just a bit of a wide stance. I'll do a redline for anyone who doesn't believe me. :P

I was all "JESUS CHRIST IT'S LITERALLY PERFECT" vibrating in my chair, but then I made the mistake of reading down the comments about it being a 3-legged wonder, and... it is, it totally is, goddammit, what has been seen cannot be unseen. I think I'll just get one and make it a character that's canonically missing a leg.

As a montre fan, I have been afraid since the revamp what the new specialty colors would look like when they were updated, but this is really nice. Makes me wish I still had a reborn montre. :)

I do kinda agree that the snout seems a bit broad, kind of distractingly so-- I think due to how low it is and how it sticks out from the montre's body, which makes it almost seem to stand out? And I also wish we had at least a hint of the fourth leg haha; while I will totally take having a less visible leg over an awkwardly placed one, it seems unnatural to not see at least a small portion of it!
Okay but anyways the wings?? are gorgeous? jesus christ THE COLORING ON THE WINGS I'M JUST, I'm honestly so in love with how hagane shades wings, the feathers are always so fucking pretty!!! I love love love the coloration on it tbh I really love that it's darker than some other reborn pets, it makes the markings really striking?! I LOVE the new look of the tail decorations, the somewhat singed-looking feathers are gorgeous, and I love the highlighting on the... tail ring thingy!!
the fire looks so good holy shit, the movement on the tail fire is just!!! amazing!! and really the wing fire is also reall really good, wow, Subeta artists have improved how they draw fire SO much over the years and it's really awesome to see. I also am really All About the highlighting on the tail, it's just... I don't even know what it is in particular but it looks so nice, just, ghfdhgjdfg, it's so easy to make the highlighting given off from fire look kinda pillow shade-y and this is Not, this Delivers

Awesome revamp! Would like to see it get its forth leg as it looks a little strange.
So I'm not a huge fan of how broad the nose is. I always thought montres were fox-like, and the snout gets broader as it gets to the point of the nose, which feels clunky even accounting for perspective. That being said, other than the three leg thing, I'm much happier with this than I am the common montre art and I'm happy that the color I was considering for my pet looks so nice now. The wings look a lot better.

It's pretty cool, but it looks like there's a huge patch of really fuzzy/blurry lineart on the tail. :c Like, if you look at where the shading's dark, right where it starts to curve.
Those wings are awesome, though I do agree it looks like it only has 3 legs. Other than that, this is a night and day difference when it comes to the revamp, great job!
My Ayare was my first pet, something like 10 years ago. I've been waiting for this for a long time. He's beautiful!!!! I'm so happy with him. This pet deserved a revamp so bad. LOVE the singed tail feathers.

I honestly don't know how to feel about this revamp... The art itself is great (the shading and flames) but the head and expression look odd and it looks like it only has tree legs... :/
- well, we try our best! I can look at even the more recent reborns from last year and find things I'd change with them, but we grow and learn all the time and WON'T EVER STOP <3
wow omg such a long time, I can imagine how hard it can be! I'm always wondering how are you and the artists are drawing the fire and other difficult details, it's really a talent! but the wait was worth it, it looks amazing and the fire is perfect! :)
- it was almost done last year, but we couldn't get the fire right on time for release! DRAWING FIRE IS HARD.

I suddenly started to want a Reborn Montre so bad
Looks so much better than the older one. I love how intense the shading is and the snout / tail is a massive improvement. It's more natural and doesn't seem like it's all hunched up into a ball.
