i've given him hundreds of wreathed items (because i needed both the burn achievement and the 1000/1000 acheev) they were cheap in shops so i mass bought, and yet nothing :( i've now hit 1000/1000 just for context of how many i've given him lol

Just keep feeding the bonfire wreathed items to make the Red Rreign breathe fire, and eventually the fire will hit one of your pets instead of items.
