They look like adorable puppies! The only thing that doesn't quite work is the head fluff. Something about it just looks odd. Maybe try a single tuft of hair or make the flulff flow more smoothly?

The revamp looks great. The hair is fabulous because it simulates the act of running against the wind. :)
I mean, they look good! It's just the hair tuft on its head that's really putting me off.
There are some things about it (like the eye) that I agree with others about.
And just a stray observation this morning for kicks and giggles,, but maybe it's just me, but if I look at the two hind legs without the front half, it looks like cartoon legs for someone that has to pee really bad.
i really appreciate the sentiment behind this revamp, and it has a very sweet face, but its hair tuft looks really weird and stiff. i feel like it'd have been better if it was closer the old version's hair, even if the "movement" wasn't realistic, because the movement in this version just looks........ not right? off.

I changed my long time blacklight Kumos to a blacklight Celinox because I just couldn't keep her like this. :(
i considered rather often getting a spectrum kumos, and i gotta say unless i get an overlay or something i probably won't be.
personal preference aside, the art looks lovely and matches recent revamps! 10/10 but the old lineart had a certain charm, and like others have said the body looked a lot leaner than this one does. something about the paw not having distinguishable toes always made me like it more.
((am I the only one that thinks otter when looking at these guys bc for some reason, idk. the new body shape maybe?))
While I suppose the body has some improvement (plenty, if I'm honest, except I mostly dislike the changes) I do enjoy the additional color markings, particularly.
minor greviences: -tbh the shading on my moniter and phone alike really doesn't do anything good for me, it looks chunky/blocky and bold like an image that's been sent through jpeg compression a few too many times. -Only one eye is upturned, which coupled by the "mouth" shading makes it look like one of those pictures where someone tells you to smile suddenly and you just kinda awkwardly "ehh?" face. or being told to smile when you're upset. or maybe i'm just projecting. still. -I'm really not sure what's going on with those feet. how/why are the toes and lower foot bending and spread like that? i think it's mostly the orange one that's throwing me off here, why is it bending so far forward/up in the opposite direction if it's supposed to be jumping/flying like the new tufty things imply? -also, isnt the rainbow supposed to be coming -from- the tail, like a paintbrush? now it's just kinda. there. and awkward looking.
though I guess to each their own. Certainly no disrespect to the artist here, it just really isn't my cup of tea i guess. but that's what custom overlays are for and it's a good improvement for the people that enjoy the new style. :v

I really really dislike its hair going backwards, its muzzle is thicker, it doesn't look agile and slim anymore this really is a step backwards for me

oh no...the art isnt bad, its cute, it fits in better with other spectrum pets now i guess. I just really liked mine how it was :(

Yeah, the blacklight hasn't updated for me either, it's showing the old version.
Gotta say tho, with the exception of the shading, I'm not much of a fan. I agree with the one eye squinting and the other not it makes it look weird, like it's suggesting a side-smirk, but just looks wrong. I liked the neutral/gentle face of the original much more so and I also liked how it did just look more agile. The way the back legs are positioned on the revamp make it look more like the Kumos is tripping rather than leaping and the tail is kinda strange to me for some reason- like it just feels heavy or something and I agree w/ the hair fluff, it looks like clumpy blobs instead of hair that's being blown back.
Meh, not a fan really, but I know it won't chance so... shrug
You guys probably have a slow cache, it will update itself eventually to have the new images, or you can clear your cache/hard refresh? Posting here just in case anyone else has the same thing happen.

Huge improvement, though I have to admit this is one of those kumos colors that really makes me wish they had a mouth, lol. The hint of a smile is super cute though, and I like how dynamic the pose feels :D Also really love the way the moon markings look on the revamp-- the more vibrant colors are much more eye-catching and it's especially apparent with those markings!
Nope. I prefer the patch of fur down over the eyes and the tail tip of the old version. The new version looks like there are tentacles on their heads.
Between the Reborn Antlephore and now the Kumos eye shading, are we starting to hint at there being pupils in these cuties? The suggestion of a smile on these puppers is really nice too
Don't really like the spectrum but the blacklight doesn't look much different. I can't tell the difference.

Are you sure? I can see ALL of those points on the Blacklight, but the Spectrum is still using the old lineart, there is no coloration on the feet (the pads are still gray) and even in Athene's post where she showed the before and afters, the after on the Spectrum shows no update, while the Blacklight does. The same goes for the actual images on the initial news post. .. There is an obvious difference in the lineart between the Spectrum and the Blacklight. I've even taken a screenshot of what I see if you need that...
the colors have been brightened and cleaned up, and there is added color to the tips of the paws that wasn't there before. The white and shading on the spectrum kumos is way more aesthetically pleasing to look at now
Oh. I like the new revamp except for the hair? I was considering changing my pet astaire into a spectrum or blacklight, but now I don't know P:
The face looks a little odd. Like, one side looks squished because the eye is squinting slightly, but it doesn't look like there's a reason for it? If both were squinting or not squinting, it would look better I think but the mismatch feels off.
I.. honestly prefer the old revamp in this one. The spectrum kumos is one of those pets I didn't have but considered getting. The art is always a great improvement, but the head and ears seems too.. bulky, and the hair, while in motion, looks way too chunky. The body overall is fine, but the head throws it off for me. I also preferred the more pastel faded rainbow look, but the brighter more saturated colors go better with the rest of the coloration.
All in all, I'm glad people like it, I don't mind, I don't even have one, and I'm happy that revamps are still getting done.

I am still not in love with the hair on top of the head (looks thick/noodle like plastic), but I really really love the changes overall, especially the added colors to paws/eyes. I especially love the updated vibrancy of the colors. ❤️
