They are from a past plot event called Masquerade: Ziara History. I don't think there is any real info on these guys other than they were battle opponents during the plot which was several years ago.

Got 5 wins against Dean but none of my pets are even close to battling the other one. Maybe some day. I've never heard of either of these.

I managed to beat Blaire five times this time around =D sucks I can't get the achievement tho. She feels random and luck-based like General Error, so I could probably eke out a few more wins.

I hope Lady of the Waters will show up sometime soon because I need her sticker! (well I probably can't dent her still, but the prices should come down at least haha)

It was because of your comment that I even attempted to beat Dean. Ty :D (Also managed 5 wins - just!) It's really tough as you can't use your scrolls. I found Dark Death potions helpful.

there's a lending thread on the battle forums if you want to give it a shot, you may get lucky and find someone who will lend :) the rapier should be pretty cheap though, you may want to pick that up anyway!

I used in hopes of getting a lot of freezes and I equipped a death shard, glaciating pylonic, negating pylonic, mercurial throwing vial, and potion of life just in case I got pretty close. you could try to borrow a possessed bow which will help by healing, defending against fire, and even freezing. freezing is pretty much the best option here. also having more full blockers like rainbow vortex or amulet of neutrality (or both) along with your shinwas temple shard will buy you some more turns.

I used blessed trident of the banished one, rapier of error, intricate energized helmet, rainbow vortex, amulet of neutrality, phoenix quill, reviver of the lion, and trusty blades which I didn't use and would have been better off replacing with a shinwas temple shard

Tier 9 here...not exactly even stats...also lasting only 4 or 5 turns. Glad it's not just my pet and his somewhat lame weapons and scrolls...

...Who ARE these guys, and do I have to be worried if my strongest pets have max stats around the 80's? If these people were from the big timey-wimey masqueradeplot a couple of years ago, I never got past the START of the time travel part! I had just made the watch when LOW AND BEHOLD the event ended! I was not happy, that spunded like such a fun adventure and I missed it!!!? -> ? Yeah, I really hope ai can get at least one battle out of these guys... or else I will be miserable the rest of the month...

Hm, I can only last about 4 or 5 turns against Dean with my T9 (even stats). Does anyone happen to know roughly what tier your pet should be to win against him? I was curious if my pet was too low on stats or if I just need better weapons, lol.
