Storm Bumbus and Darkonite!

Oh dear, the storm bumbus seems to be having a little trouble in all this rain. It's hard to get to the flowers in weather like this! The storm darkonite doesn't seem impressed at all. Maybe you can give it a little hug? Although, the darkonite was never big for cuddles in the first place.

This really shows some of the stark differences in lightning 'intensity' that exist across storm pets.. but I like it. It really allows for more freedom of mood/personality, and some of it is going to happen with various artists anyway so embracing it works. Keeping the palette tight helps too. Really gives the darkonite an opportunity to be melancholy.

On first look (when side by side like this) it's the tiniest bit jarring, but it really does work.

They were originally 'created' by the pet zapper, and it still gives them out at a fairly high rate if you want to try to get one fairly cheap/would prefer they be on one of your old pet names.

There are also elixirs (just as an example, there are other colors so check them all for prices - SubetaLodge link)

Very stormy here where I am today in WV with heavy rains, flooding risk and severe storms coming through in waves as a cold front comes through today ^_^.

If you get a bumbus quest you can change an exiting storm pet into a storm bumbus ^_^. Glad I remembered to check the blue building to find I was on a quest and didn't even know it :).

The Bumbus is nice too, I love those delicate wings, but I'll never be a fan of the species myself.

Gorgeous! I really love the color choices on the bumbus, the eyes are very striking and the wings are super pretty. And the way the antennae have lightning around them, that's really cool! I adore the highlighting/shading on the darkonite, it gives it so much depth. Also really love the water dripping from the headfluff! u Lovely pets, wow.
