thank you so very very much for taking the time to explain!! so from what i read, she is "more frequent" on mondays torough the day, not just during the 3 hours period (and during the week as well), AND i was just lucky/unlucky that since all REs have been made higher chance, i got those instead of her during my questing hehe, makes sens!! and i second all of 's shennanigans haha xx

So basically what I’ve done with the REs is I’ve made a bunch of them more common, so users who go around the site should get a few more REs than they were for the past few months. The Tempest specifically I’ve made more common on Mondays as well as throughout rest of the week. It’s not guaranteed you’ll fine her during Monday, but you do have a better chance now!

i was wondering what the changes were, exactly, since you updated the REs? simply because, despite doing all my quests during the monday raining period, at since i am gold it means lots of moving around and pageviews, i still didn't get her during the last 2 shots ;A; but i did get at least 2 lizard trap springs and a few subQ invites, so my conclusion was that it was not just "her" that was highered but "all"? and it's still a weird coincidence that my account usually doesn't get a lot of REs, yet those i just mentionned did happen while raining? maybe something with the code... thank you!! n_n;; ADORE THE NEW ITEMS TOO OF COURSE OMFGGGG drools must. collect. all.

I wish the Tempest would visit me more often I mean forgetting the Items for a moment I REEAAALLYY find some strange Joy about recieving Virtual Hugs from this cuddly buddy. Fack I wish the Recycle beast gave hugs but seeing Him smile is Just enough to make me want to squeeze a Plushie of him. Which I don't have but want one.
That's about what I figured. I do know how difficult it can be to make that kind of balance, because honestly I've tried it before myself. Personally though I'd love rain items that work better with lighter backgrounds like and without having to make the whole thing dark. Sunny but raining is a type of weather I see a lot where I live, and it is by far one of my top favorite types of weather.
- from the artist: "It works better with darker backdrops (specifically, i wanted it to work really well with the lightning cloud model!) I was trying to strike a balance between TOO visible, and not visible enough. Which was actually pretty difficult. The rain won't be super visible against backdrops like the token of tempest, but i figured that would be okay. I figured this item was more about the large amount of water more than the rain, anyway." - so there you go!
We're reading the suggestions here, though. So in the future, we hope to have all of the stormy weather conditions that are being requested!

- hmm, i'll look into that! It's possible it may have been saved incorrectly, but it might be that the backgrounds that it was tested with worked for our artist! Either way, I'll have a look.

It rains for 1 random hour every Monday. There is a ping group that posts to let you know when it's raining.
Now if only Tempest would come get a hug from me....

I have so very desperately been wanting a rain foregornd-type item that I could use with my own backgrounds..... This wasn't really what I'd had in mind. I'll try to find some way to get this to work, though.
