y did the Hydragellos just re-up in health he was down to 50 million in damage now he is back up to 150 million

Yes, because you are competing for most damage dealt with other tier 2 pets, not with everyone. You'll get some prizes!
Should we just not try to fight it if we don't have Tier 10+ battlers?
I attacked with my highest battle pet, a Tier 2, and the darn thing healed for 10x the amount of damage I can even do.
That's how boss battles go here. It's not really anybody's favorite as far as I know, but it is what it is.
Just that you couldve spent a lot of time battling her and get almost nothing in the end unless your pet hits like a truck but maybe I just didn't spam enough battles, dunno.
I would like to know if the second one will fit the European time? now it's 2:30am and I'm really tired so I would be happy to know if in like 7-8 hours the second one will start or at least half of it.
I don't think my T4 can do damage to him anymore? Is there a point to battling him if my total damage dealt is 0 now?

Welp, pretty sure I'm not going to get anything (despite needing some of it for pet treasures iirc?) since my only battler is tier 3 and not even all that good...

xD just managed to last 6 or 7 turns against it even though it froze me twice. But since it was just healing itself during those turns I did a good 3k damage or so. Well, too bad I have to sleep now and get up early tomorrow to get my stuff packed up for moving.

No. If we ever use that idea, it'll be because it makes sense with a plot, and it likely won't be for an entire boss battle.
I saw on the battle thread that there are gonna be two Hydragellos? Does our damage in each tier count for each one individually or combined?
yeah. Except none of my poor babies have been able to fight anything past the mini gels in the beginning. I seriously doubt I'm coming close to beating anyone in my tier...
Does this guy have the new coding you talked about? That caps off pet's stats to make it "fair" for everyone?

Ugh. Part of me wants to try for the gel core or whatever he drops, because it's on my Subeta bucket list. The other part of me knows how much I end up hating myself after spending hours on boss fights, and swore I'd never do this again. :(

To all of the people with smaller pets: There will be some prizes awarded to the top battlers in each tier, so you're competing with other pets like yours, not with the huge pets. Don't feel discouraged!

You misunderstand, I wasn't talking about me. As much as I'd like some of the drops, they're usually nowhere near worth it (the sickle from Kiyo being an exception since I need two more than the one I got).

I could only defeat the wizard 3 times, after that all the battles I tried he healed completely as soon as I got his HPs down and then took all of my weapons. All of them. So not sure if this is worth the effort. ?

About 300k to keep re-healing uuuugggg and gone with that last 100k+ befor i could do anything, uuuugg oh well.
