Masquerade End Warning!

The wait time between dances has been decreased for the remainder of the event! The Masquerade will be over at 11:59pm on April 3rd. Remember that the Masquerade forums will close at 11:59pm on the 4th, so you have time to get prizes out for any contests you might be running. :)

We will be retiring the 2012 tab items from the Menagerie at 11:59pm on the 4th, so you can dance your heart out this weekend and use Monday to grab any 2012 items you're missing!

The Migrating Masks will be open until May 1st, so you’ll have a month to restock any masks you might want for next year.

Yep! :) You’ll be able to buy things throughout the year, so you don’t have any rush to buy items from years 2013+.

I seem to be getting about 2 trinkets per dance also. Oh well. Will be busy most of the day tomorrow so hope I can get some dancing in.

Thanks for confirming! I did get the buff just recently, and have been getting wait times of 2-4 minutes which is a godsend! Thank you so much for decreasing wait times! I've been so busy this year that I've been lucky to have more than 2-3 hours of being online at one time.

Are the trinkets received also halved? I seem to be getting a lot of 2 and 3 trinkets, and I think before I got like between 3-5. I know it's such a small difference, but wondering if they're also halved or if my luck is just terrible today.

8 minutes is the max (which before it was 15)! But you have a higher chance of getting the dance buff now. :) The buff has decreased in time, as well.

Just out of curiousity what is the margin by which wait times are reduced? I'm still getting wait times of 7-8 minutes. Is 8 minutes the maximum wait time?

no retirements from Lounge :) @?Tobias ;) I posted ahead of time that we wanted to do the shorter times earlier so everyone gets a chance at the 2012 items retiring + time zones! Nope! We try to add all the new stuff early on (or let you know if another wave is coming) so you guys can plan how many trinkets you need to dance for.

I'm so happy we have shorter dance times more avance than usual. This is one of the first events so far where the Europeans don't miss out on shorter wait times. And i'm pleased with the extra communication news post because there were still some confused people around.

I'm nowhere near close to finishing 2012, and I have barely touched any other year! At this rate I will never catch up, I'm only clinging on now because there's no lounge retirements happening so I'm using those to buy more steam works trinkets. I've been dancing through college classes and between assignments but I'm just so busy!

Rant over, time to get back to dancing :p
