About the Downtime

Hi everyone!

As a lot of you know, we had to bring the site down this morning due to fatal errors being thrown. There was an issue with the service we use for our logs, where their ssl certificate expired so Subeta couldn’t connect to them properly (which is why you got errors). It’s been resolved, though!

If you lost anything during the time the errors were going out, such as losing out on trinkets from a dance or trying to buy an item from shops (such as the Blackheart Hollow), please file a ticket! A UA will work with you to reimburse you.

We’ve reset normal quests (not Shinwa or Battle, sorry), so even if you completed them earlier in the day you’re more than welcome to complete them again.

Yeah I was getting a few challenges at least by this time last year. Idk if its about location or if its just RE which I thought it was. Hopefully we both get challenged soon!

While I didn't notice the downtime or possible loss of tokens (which I'm sure I can make up during the course of the event), would it be possible to get an alert (like the npc 15%) for anytime the quick-feet pass comes by, it's like it hits and then poof a blink and its gone. I didn't even notice i had it until the 'it wore off' popped up.

I don't think I lost enough to warrant taking up a UA's time. I'd say I only would have gotten a couple of trinkets, since I decided to wait until I had a dancing partner rather then try to dance with people in the forums. Anyway, I'm with the others, thank you for resolving the problem early on.

Amber, thanks so much for the reset. I work up the widget and had just finished Quentin when things went wonky. I'm really loving the fact I can do Wiz, Sag, and Quentin again, they're my favs. (hug)

The dance time will be reduced near the end of the event, and honestly, I didn’t even make the times as long as previous years to start with. <3

Honestly, reduced dance time would've been more appreciated. Usually can't do quests in the morning like I used to b/c of the errors but I was trying to do Shinwa, and this isn't a reset quest. (I don't need a token bag - I can do the work myself)

I filed a ticket about losing the BHH item before the downtime, so I'll just wait for someone to be assigned to it. Unfortunately, I have no idea how many trinkets I lost, but I know it was only very few, so I'm not too concerned about that. Anyway, thanks for the update, etc. and for the second round of quests :) crossing my fingers that the rest of the event runs smoothly.
