Last year, I'm pretty sure I was actually able to restock stuff.

I managed to buy exactly one item from the shop... But I got quite lucky with Carl (spent way to much on his quests) and vending. Also the scavenger hunt was much fun. Especially the parts I did not do while half asleep. :P
Really disappointed with this event! Spent days trying to stock something from the shop but every time I got there it was empty! Lots of other people saying the same!
It was a fun year! For those that missed items, I still have a contest running to help people get things they missed! Just click on my username, visit my threads, and find the freyalise one!

I've been buying plushies like crazy today and still trying. Prices keep shooting up though Lol I will get them at some point. Everything does come back next year, right?
I did pretty well in the shop. Got all but I think two sharks for Glaskil's TC. :) Wanted to get more books though but oh well.

I managed to get two plushies from the shop - but they were cheapo ones. Did better with Carl, and got a few items from vending (though most of the vending items were also cheapo ones). That said, I do enjoy Carl's quests during this event, and I love vending anyway, so overall it was fine. It would have been nice to see the shop restock more often - I'm pretty sure last year it did, even if I still didn't get anything good because of the speed of my connection, but I at least saw more stuff stocking more often last year than this year.
I wasn't strong enough to challenge the one crew member who had :'( Now I can just hope to get it somehow one day... cries pathetic tears
I only saw items in the shop one time. I would refresh for the longest time and never see anything in there. Gave up because I only 10GB of data per month and I can waste it having to refresh a shop a billion times. Glad to see some people got some items from there. Just isn't my thing I suppose, especially since restock times were so ridiculously long.
Yeah, most of the items I got were from Carl or vending...I think I managed to restock 2-3 things. Now I wait for shop prices to go down on the things I'm still missing :)

I actually did great just using carl! He didn't really understand what I personally wanted, but he did give me two space pirate maps, a whale study, the warrior wall scroll, and good number of other expensive items. Between those for trading and just waiting for usershop prices to go down, I'm pretty satisfied. c: The scav was fun too! (still haven't won that bluff game tho...)
Worst and most boring event ever..not to mention the anniversary of the site being next to nothing. There isn't much to look forward to being here anymore. I hope morostide is better :(
I won't say anything about how hard it was to restock, my main issue was how long the wait times were between restocks. Multiple times I sat there refreshing when it said it restocked OVER thirty minutes ago. 30+ minutes seems excessive, honestly. :/
Man, I had less than twenty to go for a complete collection. I have ... absolutely no idea why I thought I'd have today to restock also. Oh well!

I gave up on the shop like, the first day. I did get some stuff from Carl but not actually anything I wanted. Oh well! I did really enjoy the Scavenger Hunt and the lovely outfits it yielded!

it took me a while to figure out this holiday sucks. but i figure it out eventually. thanks for making me realize this is just a game and i should accomplish something irl instead of in virtual reality. i really needed that.
Next year, PLEASE make it restock more often. half an hour between restocks is absurd. There were lovely items this year, and I'm /very/ lucky I managed to get a few.

I'm sad to admit that the holiday really sucked for me this year. Last year's frequent RS times made it possible for everyone to restock and not just people with fast connections. I'm pretty disappointed that (on a site where the userbase in constantly growing) you guys decided to make the items LESS accessible.

This year was my first Keel Hauliday and I did pretty good. I got more than 300 items and only restrocked on the weekends. Carl, Pete and Nori gave me some items too. Sadly I missed some books for the achievment. But their are enough books in user shops. :3 Please don´t change a thing next year. It was AWESOME!
sad to see all the pirate stuff gone again but i was able to restock a bunch of stuff this year. I was able to get ALL shark minions!!! And the warriors headpiece!!! Cant wait till next year! Thank you for all the wonderful items! And the challengers

Well, I had a good year. Between restocking, questing and trading, I managed to get almost everything I wanted (missing only two plushies). The occasional long restock time was slightly annoying, but there were plenty of restocks at normal intervals, so I didn't find it too bad. I was really glad to see the return of the wench skirts; I'd coveted them for years but they were so expensive in user shops. Now I have them all! :) After all that I'm looking forward to a nice relaxing Alegarten!
yes even with a reading comprehension fail it's still always bitter to see them go! Time flies so very fast this time of year. I think I had read the news post the day after it came out so I was thinking 20th + 10 days and had the 30th in my mind. chains the pirates to the docks The sea can wait for ye!

30th is when the holiday ends, the shop is only open for 10 days during the holiday time. it opened on the 19th.
Agh. I somehow was thinking closing on the 30th meant you know ... the end of the day ... on the 30th? Not practically the 29th just after the day resets -_-
It's been a while since I've done holidays here so I should have remembered but could it be so hard to have given us till the real end of the month and actual end of the day you said it would retire on? Would a few more hours have made much of a difference really? Irritating way to wake up alas
I'm still missing one of the Map pieces (Ziara Privateer First Piece), and I'm pretty sure it comes from the Ice Fields.. I still can't get it. I've somehow managed to get every other map piece, though. :|
