11th Anniversary!

Today is our 11th anniversary! To start off our festivities today, my fellow quest givers and I have brought back our celebration themed items to our quest shops! These items will be retired on October 1st, so get them while you can.

Donâ€™t forget to grab this delightful free gift either.

This kind of makes me sad to see. The floating goodie bags (or at least getting them through the drill sergeant guy last year) and halloween trick or treating is what made me really like this site and what made me look forward to staying on the site.

I miss the floating goodie bags... it was fun seeing which items I could get and to be able to help those who didn't have certain items yet. I have a gallery made specifically for Subeta's Anniversary items from year one on... I'm missing a few, especially the older and more expensive items, but I'm pretty happy with how many I've managed to add without spending too much Sp :)

While I am grateful that there is still a small celebration and a few new items released for this event, it is now harder for me to get the items for my gallery when they are now being sold in shops I have little to no currency for, especially now the celebration lasts only a day. It's rather difficult to get such large amounts of Quest Points in so little time. I wish there had been a posting of this change earlier in the year so folks could have had a chance to save up for this event since it is now so short. Ah well... time to start saving up for next year I guess :)

....Well....this is a disappointing anniversary. I like that all the items came back and that the TS got a restock, buuuut I kind of miss the floating goodie bags and the anniversary themed items. Hopefully they'll come back next year.

wow, 11 whole years! that's a long timeâ€¦ that's more than half my lifetime! i've only been here for 6 and a half of those years, and even in that time things have changed so muchâ€¦ can't wait to see the site continue to grow and change - but not too much change :P

I hope there will be more new items in the quest shop soon though (whether anniversary-related or not). I already have all those items, plus at least one of every other quest shop item that's ever been released, and i still have 2,444 quest points rotting away waiting for something to spend them on...
