"Not all male sets need to be overly masculine" (paraphrase)… YOU ARE VERY RIGHT. And I think that we can agree that I am nowhere near a beacon of overly masculine representation here. But you need to understand two things:
I think the main issue with the Sand set being showcased as the 'male' one but not really doing it are the belt (forgivable) and gemstone head thingy (uh… wut). Omit those, especially the gemstones, and I don't think anyone would have said a damned thing.

These are so pretty! I definitely have a bunch of them wishlisted. Hope I can grab them eventually!
the WLs have a limit of how many items can be in it, which includes the default, so you can either create a new category and make it default to add more stuff or you need to organize it into other WL categories to be able to add it to the default.
I have the same problem, the wishlist you are trying to add them in is probably full (500 items).

This ia a gorgeous pairing of sets.. and...hemmmmm ..interesting... there's a definite colour theme this summer.. this stuff will go nicely with the Gem and Ini stuff as well as the Pye and Cees....I am LOVING IT you guys keep releasing such gorgeous stuff :3 My HA's have never been happier.

The beads looks very odd to me as well due to the lack of black lines.
To be honest I hope the headdress and shoulder thing get updated with better lines because they are going to layer really weirdly onto other clothes.

- No, I'm not zoomed in or out at all. And it's only some of the items. I'm thinking now that I've had a chance to look at them some more that it's the way they were designed. It's really tough on my eyes though. Like the "Surf Headress"... The seashell and flower (?) are in focus, but the beads are totally not. I wish it was all in focus.
Could you be zoomed in slightly in your browser? Sometimes I zoom in for subeta to make it easier to read text and I forget to zoom out again, and overlays get really blurry for me
I really like these new sets, but why are almost all of the overlays in the Surf line so blurry? I have my glasses on and they're still blurry!

The people moaning about how it's not masculine enough make me laugh. I mean, let's look at the female set. How many of you ladies wear sashes, stockings and a shoulder piece at the beach? It's a beach inspired fantasy set and from that angle - the male set suits it fine :).

The only thing that bugs me is the pink beads on the female set have no lineart. They are nearly impossible to see :(

Those eyes had so much potential but damn, lopsided and a bit dramatically sized... reminds me of o.O And is that supposed to be a male set or... ? Because if so, it looks like someone went "nah, this one needs to be male. Make the hair short, it'll totally be chill."

Not enough male sets? Try waiting for naturally curly hair. I wonder how many naturally curly male wigs we have. I like all of these items though, I'd love to have the full sets.
The male hair is really pretty. I don't like the different pieces when they stand alone, but the overall outfit is glorious. especially the female set. Good work!
