i understand but that depends on whether or not the user chooses a more tactful method. since people are able to comment in the news posts, people should be able to post however they feel about the news be it a contest or new items. they have just as much right to post their opinions as we do about about ours. whether it's rude or not is subjective and we can all draw our own opinions on that matter. lol let's just agree to disagree :)

Which is why there is a Site Feedback forum. You don't pick the place where winners are announced to voice your opinion on how they didn't deserve to win.

i think u r right. people should be able to freely express their opinions on this site. this site is not a utopia. if there were only positive opinions on this site, there will be little to no improvements overall. ws's opinion of this contest is not going affect the results of this contest anyways. the winners were choosen. it's not like the staff will go back and give the winning spot to someone else just bc users dislike the results. whether or not the winners decides to ignore ws opinion amongst sea of congrats is really up to them. :)

Me using "dick" was my word to describe myself; it wasn't supposed to be a direct quote.

But anyway, I still think it's rude to post that kind of thing on the news post. Like it's one thing to say "Congrats, winners! But I wish [user]'s HA had made it, it was my favourite!" and another to say that the winners are literally inferior. That kind of thing is for shittalking with friends or on your tumblr or whatever.

Seriously, these are great. It's hard to pick a favourite, but I think BatBoy's is just adorably unique. :) I agree there were many more designs that could have won--there were 27 pages of human avatars, and at least half of them 'deserved' to win--but can there ever really enough winners for any contest? You all did a great job, and it was fun! Looking forward to more of these flash contests in the future. Better luck next time! ;)

I was just saying that not everyone will like the entries and its their right to say it as it is to say they like the entries. Also I didn't say "dick" I said "jerk" there's a difference. I'm not attacking anyone. Saying that while I don't agree with WS (who also could have stated her opinion better) she should be able to post it without being subjected to the deal with it gig in response. Also some will be upset they didn't win and question why that was too (personally ik I didn't deserve it and prob shouldnt have bothered there were 25 pages of great HA's before mine, but not everyone will see it that way and should be able to say so). That being said congrats should be taken as the happy honor they are and should be enjoyed regardless of opinions.

Also it's just a lame dick move in almost any contest to say "other people deserved to win more". Like dude, the contest is over. It doesn't matter. They aren't going to say, "WOW MY TASTE HAS COMPLETELY CHANGED, PLEASE LET ME TEAR THE AWARDS FROM THE PALMS OF THE WINNERS AND PICK THOSE YOU LIKED BETTER"

Of course everyone isn't going to agree on who was "best", and some people who "deserve to win" aren't going to since this is all subjective-opinion based. If that upsets you, then don't enter contests. I don't enter normally enter contests because subjective opinion stuff stresses me out, and it's really no hinderance on my life.

Expressing negative opinions about the winners just spreads around bad vibes and makes things less fun imo

Posting on the page displaying the winners that none if these people should have won (except two that she personally liked) is going beyond an opinion, and no one should have to accept that.

I'm fairly certain if WS won and had people saying that about the hard work she did, she'd be singing a whole different tune.

I thought this was a great display and took into account more than just one style/aesthetic

I just don't think it's necessary to post at all if you're just going to say "these winners suck"? Like I'm not saying that we're The Best At Avatars Objectively Speaking or anything, but time and creativity were put into every entry and Wolf_Spirit's implying that our work is lesser and we don't deserve what we got in a subjective competition is uncalled for.

I might not agree with but its their opinion and you don't have to be a jerk about it, its their right to have it. I feel like everyone has to either agree or they're shunned or treated awfully. That shouldn't be the case. You should be able to voice your opinion whether negative or opinion on posts like this. Just saying.

Just because you personally didn't like an outfit doesn't mean they didn't deserve to win. It's just your taste, and you liking a non-winner outfit doesn't mean it was better. All outfits were well made and thought through. Please don't make people feel bad for their win.

I will be very honest here and say that I feel there were many more in that thread a lot more deserving of a win than those chosen. Celtic and Fawn's were well done, but I do wish there were other HAs that were chosen over the rest. No offense to the time taken by the rest of the players, but there were some entries that were super creative and wonderfully executed. Congrats to everyone, I suppose, though.

This was such a fun contest. I had never used the shared outfits and to be able to try on all those cool items that are not feasible for me to buy is fantastic. Though I have been here since before the reset I am constantly finding new things at Subeta that I have not tried. This is truly my favorite site on the internet. Congrats to all the winners. You all did a great job!!! I have to say is my favorite, but everyone did so well. :D
