Nah. The old art was flat, the fur had no depth. The legs also made no sense, there were just paws.

I actually really like the updates. The lines are cleaner, the anatomy is a bit better and the shading makes details that are kinda muddled in the old versions pop out more. I think I like those old minions even more now! LOL.

We don't keep old art for the sake of keeping old art. We keep old art because the artist did a good job in the original drawing - i.e. it stands the test of time. Subeta needs a national heritage trust. I know a lot of people are pleased with the updates. I'm not. I'm just expressing my opinion.

But if the only reason to stop revamping things is to preserve old art for the sake of keeping old art, it's not a good idea.

- There actually is coding that allows you to overlay minions on pet profiles, i have such an overlay on one of mine.

Nice to see some extremely outdated art get some attention! A lot of minions need some work, and I like that they kept the feel of the originals.

I love the Korahel and want one, maybe there's a way to eventually create an option to overlay for minions too? Idk how much coding is involved in that though, so it might be a completely stupid and over reaching idea.

Great new art and i'm especially glad the Nursling was revamped! It really needed it. I will kinda miss the pixely sparkles around the pink minions though...not sure why, but i quite liked the old style.

. That is why I premised my comment with "from my perspective". I'm thrilled you could recognise the minion immediately. I didn't. Again speaking from my opinion which presumably I am entitled to, I don't think all the artwork needs updating. I liked and have bought the old art specifically for the way it looks.

Revamping outdated art is part of bettering the site. Asking them not to revamp things is basically taking a step backwards. And I gotta disagree about the Korahel. I was able to recognize what minion it was when I saw the news post.

I like most of them, the Korahel though doesn't seem to have the same Awww, wook at the wittle cwitter look to it anymore. Technically it looks better, obviously the art is much better but I guess I like the nostalgic feel of the old one. It's just a personal preference. Yay! for new minions though :)
