The only other thing with the Chai is that the charm on the collar is wonky. It's not an actual crescent moon. There's a pointy bit coming off of it near the top on the left side (true left, not visual left). If that wasn't there and there were more stars as per the old version it'd be a perfect pet

Oh nice! These two wouldn't even necessarily have been near the top of my list to need revamps but wow! So much improved that I didn't even know needed it! :) Thank you for the great work.

Galactic isn't my favorite color by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm glad these got updated. The old hippotu was just pathetic.

I really don't like how there is such a lack of stars on the new versions. The old had so many more and it doesn't feel like galactic without them. Other than that they're nice

Thanks Simstar for the old/new comparison, I forgot what my Galactic Chai looked like before the revamp.
I think the artist did a fantastic job on both pets. I agree, just changing the head's angle made a big difference. Thank you Subeta team.

I am really adoring how much the markings are better defined now and the sparkles aren't so big it makes it hard to see the markings. Very nice revamp guys!

Love love LOVE the Chai. It's funny how simply lifting the head makes it look so much more bright and clever - and you can see the collar much better at this angle, too.

OK now that I have made Calhan into a galactic hipottu and have time to stop screeching and actually comment!!

CHAI IS ADORABLE, I actually used to own a galactic chai and I always loved them but it just felt so outdated and ANYWAY I am so happy to see it get revamped, what a darling!!! I really like that the face angle was changed, it looks so much happier and more energetic even with that small change, and I absolutely LOVE the way the gold swirls were handled, they look so gorgeous, god, they're so... metallic-looking but without being overdone and the lines are so swirly and thin and smooth and aaaAAAaa teach me your ways. I really love the shading on the collar a lot too, it's very pretty and well-done, and the little... antennae? In general the shading on this is just A+ good, god, subeta artists... how...

THE HIPOTTU LOL OH MY GOD okay so predictably, ever since galactic revamps started I've been crying internally over how much I would love a revamp for galactic hipottu b/c oh my god the old one is so. old. It is so, so old. But I never dared truly hope, not on this blessed year of already getting hipottus... I never really expect hipottus to actually come out, it's always so surreal somehow. I can't explain it. I just got home and my girlfriend tweeted me that the hipottu got revamped and I don't think I've ever opened up a subeta tab so fast omg

IT'S PERFECT IT'S BETTER THAN I COULD HAVE EVER DREAMED I'M GOING TO CRY I LOVE IT SO MUCH AM I DREAMING IS THIS THE REAL LIFE Pose.. adorable... I love that the old pose was kept, but made so much.. less... awkward-looking. i love the front legs.. i love the back legs.. i love the feets... cute hipottu toes abububu... I love how adorable the face is and I am weirdly drawn to the highlighting in the eyes, especially. WINGS GORGEOUS, 10/10, would shriek over again. I really really love the shading in the feathers, it's so light and silver-y but the shading is still pretty clearly defined, not too dark and not too light. I REALLY REALLY OH MY GOD PRETEND I JUST WROTE 80000 "REALLY"S OK because I fucking love the way the stars on the body were handled, how they've got that shine and how they replaced the hipottu's little dot markings, it's just... ideal. I love that the bottom circle marking on the head has that shine to it IT'S SO EYE-CATCHING AND NICE, sighs the shading on the galactic markings is so gorgeous A+, the color choice just. perfect??? So gorgeous. i love that there are little swirls surrounding the circle markings on the feets!! i love the star markings that aren't just dots but have that kind of twinkle effect! also I love that the tail fluff is black now (and with a shiny star!), it looks SO much better!

god this hipottu is one of my favorite hipottus, i did not expect to end up with yet ANOTHER hipottu to own and adore this year. thank u... hipottu artist... thank u for making my life a beautiful place..
