Artist Pay Changes

I have just finished adding a new way for artists to be paid. There are a few changes you need to be aware of:

All artists now earn 5,000 sP a day.

In addition to this you can earn 500sP for each image you draw that gets used. If the image is a pet, or a general image you will get 500sP for sure. However, if the image is an item there are certain requirements.

To earn your 500sP for an item, it must have a unique and usable description. You can think of the 5000sP a day as paying for your services as an artist, and the 500sP per image as a bonus for coming up with descriptions.

With these changes, if you are a productive artist, who is prepared to put a little bit of extra effort in with your descriptions, you have the potential to earn a lot of sP.

"Should help motivate some."

Except those of us who are PAST MOTIVATION. flop x3 I do -try- to get my rear in gear. I really do.

Ooo, spiffy system. I've been idea-less for items, though. Hopefully I'll think of stuff to draw over the summer.

Awr, and the rest of us are stuck at a low flat-rate.

That's a pretty reasonable setup for the artists, though. Should help motivate some.

I think this would be a good reson to add the "edit" botton to uploaded images in your directory if it's possible? That was when you upload a lot of images and your brain is dead, you could go back once your done and take your time thinking up actual descriptions xD

As I said, the 5000sP is your pay for the -images-.

That means that if you draw one pet that takes you a week, you've been payed 35K sP for that pets image.

However, in that time we expect ~5 items or so, so you're only getting ~7K sP per item. You do get more for pets. This 500 is a bonus for descriptions for items

for restocking x0x ~ I'm so bad at it and I usually don't have the luck to never get anything.
As for trivias ~ >_> if they're in a confusing english that I can't translate it gets worse.

do I get paid for the hundreds of descriptions I've made?

j/k j/k, I don't need sP

I don't get why people are making such a fuss about sP.

I never collect my staff salary, I hardly ever play Random, I don't play any other games. All my sP is gotten from selling items I get from REs, trivias, etc. You don't need sP to have fun at Subeta.

Artists drew items and pets before, and I think you guys still draw them now. The 500 sP is like, a little bonus?

While pets probably deserve more sp ... don't we draw too many pets anyway? That would encourage us to waste our time and so on.

Still, I've got a bunch of GY pets rotting (literally) about the place, and I wouldn't mind being paid more for those if they get released x3

I would agree for perhaps having more sP for pets, since they take a lot more time and effort. Otherwise sounds good. What about items that are uploaded, but not released yet? Do we get the sP when they are released?

T.T I knew this day would come, where unproductive people like me actually get paid for the amount of work they do. I guess I'll have to start speeding up.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

hm~ 500 is okay for an item I guess.
But then again 500 for a pet? xD which can take an hour up?
~ thinks of her commision o_O

Well just my thoughts (spelling?!)

Now I have to think about descriptions xD pokes the books she's drawing

Also, I'd quite like some sp. Someone release a couple of Graveyard pets. :3

has been feeling spectacularly unproductive lately, in case no-one noticed >_>

Well, that depends what it's two and two of. If you have two litres of milk plus two litres of milk, then obviously you are going to end up with milk.

If it's two rats plus two rats then ... maybe they'd make babies and lactate?

scuttles off and puts her drawing hat on

MYTHI YOUR NUMBERS DON'T ADD UP. D:

What mathematical world do you live in? Where 2 + 2 = Milk?

Oh, and if theres any SUGGESTIONS that artists want to word in a sentence that doesnt start with "THIS IS STUPID, I QUIT", then the whole scheme is up for discussion. I'm open to tweaking the numbers if you feel it is fit to do so.

Steen and I discussed this Sooki

You were paid for about half of them (due to the lack of descriptions). But from now on to get the extra you will need descriptions.

December 31, 1969, 7:00 pm by Deleted User

That sucks X_X There were just.. 20 itms of me released O_o;;

Meh XD

I like the idea though, and it sucks aswell, since I wont have much time to draw because I will have 2 exam weeks upcoming X_X
