Ahoy, me hearties! It\'Â€Â™s that time o\' year again when we be comin\' bearin\' trade. Our cabins are full o\'many things t\' show ye collected from our wide an\' perilous travels. Well, those o\' us who ain\'Â€Â™t runnin\' inns, or gettin\' drunk anyway!

O\' course, we be bringin\' back some special items that we\'ve had in past years - ain\'t no bother t\' us t\' \'ave ye part wit\' yer gold again! But alongside that, we got plenty o\'new trinkets fer ye t\' behold. \'n we\'ve had a bit o\' a shift around in Port Plunder - we\'ve gone \'n moved our 10-day Tradin\' Company into Th\' Pirate Bay\'s old buildin, seein\' as \'twas barely bein\' used, wha\' wit\' it bein\' from such a bygone era. \'n ye can now get straight t\' the sleepin\' cabins o\'th\'Rathskellar without havin\' t\' bypass th\' shop! Thar be no bypassin\' Babette though...

T\' get ye started wit\' th\' pirate spirit, be \'avin\' this wee token o\' me affection. I promise it don\'t be an omen fer yer own ships...

Wow, this is almost as bad as the Token Shop. Either it says "Restocked Now" but there's nothing there or on the rare occasion there is something to buy it's gone by the time I click on it. For a shop that's only open a couple days a year it seriously needs to stock more.

As a user new to this event, I have to say - not loving it. It seems little more than an exercise in frustration, fighting for ANY item in the shop, only to find out, oh look, you got a mundane/common item that you actually ended up paying more for than you could have gotten it for from another user. sigh The token shop seems set up to be just as annoyingly frustrating for this event - minimal items that are gone in the blink of an eye.

I suppose I should at least be happy that there are a few items showing up in the quests, but so far, as a new user, I have to say it feels like most of the events here are very much geared toward two factions - long time users, and those with a very fast internet connections. :( I get wanting to reward people for long time site use and all that, but wow. Even the news posts are written in a way that assumes you've been here for years and know what the post is talking about - most of the news posts about events require I google the subject matter to find out what the event actually entails because there is pretty much no information for a new user included.

the RS are worse than BHH RS... I love the new clothes but what's the point if there's never anything in stock and anything of interest is jacked up prices in user shops?

I sense this as a one sided event: faster connections, omen islands map completion and sP weigh in on whether one enjoys the event... as one who lacks two of of three, you can guess where my enjoyment is....

I really, really enjoy this holiday, even though I'm bad at restocking, especially in the first few days when everybody and their mothers are there hehe. I'll wait for the interest to die down a bit and then try my hand at restocking in the shop.

In the meanwhile, I highly recommend questing! While not Freyalise items, I did get 3 Light Mage Amulets from Quentin. And just now: Finished The Dark Goddess's Quest! I'm so frustrated though!!! There's only a handful of items then BOOM a split second later, all of its gone. Yes I know people are attacking the shop but its not fun or fair to stare at an empty shop with no hope of getting awesome items. (Especially someone who collects pirate themed items OTL)

I like this holiday...I'm glad Freyalise hasn't been switched over to one of those event shops that let you just buy everything. I suck at restocking and only managed to grab a few rares last year, but it's a good feeling when you finally do manage to grab something.

Is there something wrong with the shop? Whenever I enter, it has nothing stocked, even when it says "restocked now". And there is a ton of items they sell.

Always look forward to Keel Hauliday because pirates are awesome, but then I remember that it's basically just a constantly sold out shop that pops up for a little over a week.

I hope enough items get out that they're actually affordable in the user shops.

Holy crap that stuff sells out fast! Jeez. And I second the request to bring back the Islanders/Pirates for battle, please? I missed out on that during my vacation back in the day, as I'm sure several others have, and though I know we have the annual Morostide coming up, this being the tenth anniversary and all it would just be a very nice cherry on top of all the other, already exceptional work put in by the staff.

There will be other new pirate items, just released in other ways. :) A lot of older items were brought back so you guys have a chance at some of those plushies and beanbags and other collectables :)

The verification is fine. It was like that for ages and ages on all items. The staff was just nice enough to turn it off for cheap crappy things. Don't worry, stuff gets easier once it lowers in price.

Oh man, ten days to try and RS this stuff is gonna be brutal fjkds. It would be really awesome if the Freyalise Trading Company was the Mystery Box shop one day during this event, just to get some more of this into circulation for once. x: The prices on Keelhaul stuff are always insane, especially the stuff that gets released later into the holiday. JUST A THOUGHT.
