Everyone can choose to unlock them but not everyone can beat them and just beating them each 10 times doesn't give enough crystals to mod all of your weapons in most cases. No one who needs the crystals has 5 pets that can beat either of the opponents, in fact the people who really need the crystals the most aren't even going to have 25 VH tokens (or 20 as it is now). The whole point of putting them in the shop should be to make the accessible to people who need them, but at a high expense, not to just be put in there to look pretty. They really should have been put in for a very high amount of the lower tokens so the people who really needed them could grind away some wins to get them, not just froth and foam and wish at them.
As far as the eggs go, I'm not sure anyone was complaining about eggs o.O
Parched Baguette Crystal - 77 found in your Vault (plus the ones already used for modding over the years or sold). And I'm positive I still can earn more with the small pets (oh, another challenger is giving them away, too?). What's all this fuss about? They are battle loot from special opponents, whom everybody can choose to unlock. So why should they be given away cheaply?
Also the egg thing? They are on the tiny challengers, so everybody, who wants them, could be asked to train their pets that little.
If you're making everything available to everybody, you should do the same with referral stuff for example, because that is absolutely impossible to get for normal people. Or give us a second Concoction.
Thanks InSaNe for the info on the scroll. I wonder if this is a permanent addition to the shop. If yes, I'll hold off buying any until I see a real need for it/them, because, who knows, what else and really expensive is put in there...
I still have some of the original eggs in my inventory since I can't put them in my gallery (which is what I'd like to do) or give them to anyone and almost all of my pets are too high tiers to eat them. Sure wish they'd put more scrolls in the battle shop.

Cool that there's a scroll in the battle shop. But I wish there was at least 1-2 for each level of the shop as I have lots of medium, hard & very hard tokens but not enough extremely hard to get the scroll.
Excited to see the parched Baguette Crystals back in the battle shop, even if they do sell for 25 EH tokens. Also really happy to see the Gale Force Scroll, as it fills a void in the shop.

I use voids. Admitedly, I often have spare AP that I could fill with bombs, it's just rare that I'd really need them so I'd probably be lazy and not use them
I do use some morosbanes to fill up my ap as i only have 3 freeze scrolls. I prefer them over cobalts and I don't have any sancts. bombing on freeze turns instead of chain freezing and wasting turns at full hp can be a better strategy depending on the players set and the opponent.

It's a decent bomb if you're looking for sheer damage I guess. Do people usually use bomb scrolls that don't defend ? I'm not sure. I don't.

New tiers for making scrolls 100 and 250. That's insane! Why does the site want a million lowest level scrolls made? Maybe I'm missing something, but that's what I see happening. :(
Yes, the stat booster eggs are already edible, just double checked. I don't really see the point in the new items either, but whatever. New food items for the achievements, I guess.
The problem is, they look at the top 10 of who has the most tokens, and as some people have 10 T12s, they will have a massive amount of tokens. And then price accordingly.
If you have just two main weapons you want to mod with parched - that's 200 VH. But then if your armory has some diversity and you have what, say a low 5 weapons, then that's 500 VH tokens, aka 1500 hard tokens equiv just for the dumb mods that cost 2m each.
25VH for all 4 mods per weapons would have already been high. The problem of the shop is that there's nothing there in these tiers. But that doesn't mean you should burn tokens stupidly on stuff that isn't worth it.

Yeah I was planning on buying 4 parched if they were semi-decent priced but there's not a chance in hell I'll buy them at 25 VH, I'd be very surprised if anyone did, the opportunity cost is just WAY too high

Parched Baguette Crystals were released very recently via Meatslab loot, so of course they aren't going to be cheap. Perhaps the next time they get brought back when there is more of a need for them, the price will be cheaper.

That price convereted to medium tokens (225 mediums) or maybe even easy tokens (675) would also make them alot more accessible to the people who probably need them the most.
