By the Power of Tempest!

Ahh, there you are. I do have a delightful surprise for you all. (Certainly an even greater surprise for those that haven't been following along!)

The offers of friendship worked! Tempest is happy again. It turns out The Great Tempest is actually a great big softie, and she absolutely THRIVES on company. She would love to visit you from time to time, on random occasions - but if she doesnâ€™t discharge that electrical energy first she wonâ€™t be able to get near anybody! So Iâ€™ve helped her out a little by providing her with a special bottle that she can filter a portion of her energy into. The thing is, if you were to use this energy on certain pets, it will imbue them with the power of the Tempest!

Look at that! The bottle of Tempestâ€™s energy has become a Storm Potion. And right now it is affecting the wyllop, kumos, escalade, aeanoid, anyu, fester, kanis, warador and popoko. Iâ€™m sure over time it will affect even more pets!

If youâ€™re lucky enough to be visited by Tempest, she may grant you a storm potion of your own. Or maybe another storm-infused item!

Oh, and if you have been keeping up with the events, you may notice a Tempest Lightning Rod In your possession (among other things). This is a special item I created for the possibility youâ€™d like to immediately summon Tempest to you. It only works once, however!

Now I need to get back to my hut, things to do! And Tempest seems delighted with her new friends, so I think itâ€™s all ended up working out.

Tempest smiles again, and then takes four great paces into the sky, fading as she does so. Her time on Subeta has certainly been eventful. Hopefully you can see her again one day soon!

Note: the Tempest random event is an interactive one. As such, just refreshing over and over again to get it won't work, as you may miss it!

The new Tempest color is absolutely stunning! <3 The Fester is a perfect play on the mythical thunderbird, and I feel like mentally kicking myself for abandoning my pet Thunderbird two years ago. I would have totally used a Storm Potion to turn him into the amazing Tempest Fester!

Seeing this on the suggestion forums, I didn't think much about the colour but when the plot developed it looked like a great colour idea and it definitely looks amazing! I'm liking the anyu and kanis so far, can't wait to see a lot more! (fingers crossed for a neela) :D

Aww, I didn't get the rod. D: Apparently, I didn't quite finish this even't, which I am sad for.. I would have loved to give the Tempest a flower. I had no clue how the plot continued. The Tempest is adorable when happy though.

Can't wait to see a Tigrean version of this, if/when it comes out. Would love to have Chancellor be one, and Tigrean just fits his bill more than the rest of these. Cool designs, but I agree with a few others when I say the red/pink doesn't really fit-- would have loved to see more "stormy" colors like yellow and silver thrown in rather than red-based colors.

I really hope this doesn't come across as complaining, because this was a super adorable event and I had so much fun with it (loved the face time for Nico, even if he was a little butthead -- he's my favorite NPC), but is there anything that can be done for the users who tried but weren't given the chance to finish properly? I was so confused when the "drip... drip... drip..." link just led me to the world map, and I kept waiting for a next step after the battle, but it just... ended. I was never notified to talk to Esther again, and I certainly wasn't able to give Tempest a flower. If this really was a glitch or something of that sort, it would be awesome if we could be given some kind of compensation.

If that /was/ a glitch, and we were supposed to go somewhere else when we got the "drip...drip...drip..." then I just got taken to the world map with nothing special. I as well did not receive a final step even after talking to Esther one more time. I wasn't directed to the greenhouse, or told to give a flower. It would have been nice if we'd actually gotten an event notification like the rest of the steps, because that was how I knew there was something I needed to do. I feel like all that work I did on the plot amounts to nothing now because I didn't see a final step. :/

As far as I was aware, the event was over, I never got an other updates, or had any other reason to think there was more to do, and clearly I was not the only one to suffer from this issue. Though, for being here as long as I have, I probably should have known better that something would bugger up, this is Subeta, something is always going awry.

Difficulty isn't an issue, but some of us can't spend all hours on Subeta double checking to see if something was not done properly.

Also, last night was a general shambles. I gave up. One day someone may actually fix the 502 issue and realize that when starting and ending an event, you clearly need more servers or whatever. Not difficult. Happens time and time again.

Guys you had to speak to Esther for every step, was it really THAT difficult to make the connection that you might need to again? There are also plot discussion threads etc. I don't really feel there is an excuse to have missed a step. If it glitched for you that's a different story.

I also followed the drip drip drip, and was also taken to the world map with nothing else. It is frustrating, but overall, it was a lovely event, and these pets are beautiful.

exactly. took me to the world map too. i assumed it meant nothing. i didn't get any notifications. i honestly thought i had completed the event. pissed because i want the lightning rod and pissed because every time there's a restock at the TS i miss.

thanks for the event. it was fun, but i wish the site worked more. the pet color is beautiful and i would love to be able to get it. just wish the issues would have been addressed. wish i would have known there were more steps after battling.

They're beautiful and well drawn but I really dislike the red accents. I don't get why they don't look more...stormy xD Like with colours of lightning. But I don't have any pet slots fee anyway and that's just personal preferance, yay for new pets.

I'm not big on having yet another black based pet color so I really wish you used purple or something else as the base color, but I like seeing a new pet color regardless. I would love a light version of these with light clouds or something, maybe blue and orange like a sunset. Anyway good job on that art guys.

I'm not really sure what I think about these... I'm not big on pink in general and it's definitely not a color I would associate with storms... That said, I think this color might be perfect for my pet Hustled... Out of the species currently available I like the Warador best, and that may be what I end up going with, but I'm really curious to see what other species will look like.

Glad it's just the one pet I (might) want in this color since it looks like these may be expensive to get.
