Mad Scientist Challenger!

Did you ever wonder who was compiling all of those research notes on last year's monthly battle challengers?

Well, it was this somewhat... eccentric scientist! Word is that she's just finished up her studies and is now hard at work on a serum that combines all of her subjects' most dangerous and powerful abilities. She keeps muttering something about "super soldiers" and "defending Subeta from threats." Honestly, we're a bit nervous about where this could be heading -- could you go over to the Battle Coliseum and make sure it's all on the up and up?

If you missed out on any of those challengers but would like to battle the Mad Scientist, you can buy the Research File Cabinet in the Cash Shop.

The Mad Scientist is a Tier 10 opponent (approximately).

NO FUCKING WAY This is like a belated birthday present to me. A new challenger AND a mad scientist? One of my two favourite things on Subeta combined with my FAVOURITE TROPE EVER? I love you guys. And I'm glad I bought all those research notes last year. Now excuse me, I need to calm down. And fight that sexy woman. And then calm down again.

You can read it? That's just mean. Oh well, one for free, and one I guess I'll be buying. Super glad x2 I unlocked all the opponents. Now I just need more copies of those for reading too... and considering the price will probably skyrocket now..... I'm second thinking my glad x2. :P

(though I must say this is a pretty awesome idea and I look forward to the challenge.. the pricetag just seems pretty ouch considering I only needed to spend 250 csc instead of now 750 csc)

Extremely sad now that I didn't buy the tier 1 challenger because I felt like I should save my csc for something a bit harder for my pets :( Feeling punished for having 11/12 of the challengers :/

I felt happy for being rewarded with a free challenger for meticulously collecting all notes ... until I found out, the cabinet is another book. Was that really necessary? The amount of outragously expensive books you people have turned out in the recent past is simply mean.

Maybe you should take a look at the Mad Scientist's Notes, in your inventory? Probably another opponent I dont ever unlock

i dont see anything wrong with the price ( other than it should be higher :P ) The Molten tome is 750csc.. it unlocks a opponent and is also a book.

Maybe you should take a look at the Mad Scientist's Notes, in your inventory?

Cost me almost 46mil to get the Notes I needed :( But bright side, I got three new challengers XD Although I won't be able to beat the Castle anytime in the next... many years XD

For the record I'm unhappy about the price because it's a book ;P For a challenger with rad art, cool items, and a suspenseful achievement related loot-- well, I'm glad unlocking the stupid castle has finally had SOME merit in saving me some money.

However a $7.50 book is very grumble worthy. Especially when you look at how many books are in the CS right now, and keep going into the MC every single season change in mass. Why can't wigs or stickers or magical beanbags or something else people collect grace us with it's presence for once. That's what miffs me, nothing in regards to the actual challenger bothers me with this price tag.

That price tag is bull, especially with it being a readable item on top of being a challenger. Why are things like that readable, but other things can't be and arguing for them to be readable is scoffed at ? Not even touching on how so many things are made edible, so long as they can be slightly seen as foodish... or simply have a food word in their name.

750 CSC? Holy shit that's expensive. Pretty unfair too for those of us who caught almost all of the challengers last year but only missed a couple and now can only get them by paying ~50 mil each to other users for them.
