They are called PLUGS (solid) or TUNNELS (hollow), NOT GAUGES!!! I'm tired of people calling them "gauges." "Nice gauges!" "My instruments of measurement are nice?" It would be much appreciated if the name could be changed? Thanks.

God, people are so touchy over terms. You know what I call them? Stretchers. Not gauges. Not plugs. Not tunnels. Stretchers, because that's what they do to the ear. How's that for incorrect terminology? Seriously, it's the holidays, lighten up and stop being so picky over stupid bullcrap. :|
can you make bigger plugs? some of us have ears that are stretched very large. :/ i do love that there are a few varieties now, but they are so tiny. i remember when there were no "gauges" (yes, incorrect) on this site and i had to simply cover my avatars ears. i'm grateful- i swear.

I know that the type of lobe stretcher depicted in this line is called a "plug" and one with an open middle is a "tunnel", but I still prefer the term gauges... Why?
I do like that the line has a masculine theme but it is too plain for my taste and I can't see myself using anything but the gauges... (Okay... Okay... -grumbles and uses the appropriate term-) I mean plugs. They are nicely done.

oh wow who cares about the use of the word gauges. whats confusing is that it looks like a jewelry item but is a full body item. it makes things confusing when you like to collect certain items for the item art (and not the wearable) or if you need the wearable and know its a full body item but dont know to look for an item that looks like jewelry!!
Dude woah y so srs about the name gauges. Things have diff names depending on the person. It's not that big a deal. Its hard to please everyone. It's not like gauges is a derogatory term or anything. It's not hurting anyone to call them that. So cool off bro.

Ick. "Gauges" is a totally inappropriate term. Gauge refers to the size of the jewelry and is really ONLY applicable to jewelry that is 10mm and smaller. The things you wear in the fistula of a stretched lobe is called a plug. "Gauges" is only popular because of uneducated children modifying their body without any knowledge or research into stretching. I like that we now have more choices, but I definitely DO NOT support the term "gauges" being used.

Sorry about the name you guys, but my boyfriend has plugs as you call them and he calls them gauges. Since that's my only experience with them, and as this set was based on his style, I went with that.
