Luminaire Unretirements

Many of the old Luminaire items are finding their way into a variety of the main shops! It will take a watchful eye to find all of them, are you up for it? They will continue restocking for the remainder of the year. Get em while they're cold!

In order to make room for the season, <a href=http://subeta.net/shop.php?shopid=25>Icy Goods will be retiring some of their older stock on December 12th. If you're missing something in particular, it would be wise to track it down before then!

Will the retirements be from all items or just wearables, like the previous Icy Goods retirements?

So... What's the point of the Holiday Shop, again? Sorry team. This seems ridiculously (and needlessly) complicated.

Has anyone made a list of the items/shops yet? :)

I agree with Bailey. I much prefer everything in one place. Figuring out where everything is being sold isn't very much fun for me. I'm not a big fan of this change.

does anyone know if all the items are obtainable from the frosty claw or only a few? for example if i were to go after the books, would i have to vend at blue sky?

Yay for restocking~ A lot more fun this way, better than hanging in a single...certain.... shop ^.^ Thanks for bringing those items back <3

Yup! I can confirm that if you're having issues finding the items in the shops, Frosty Claw is the way to go to find the holiday items right now. :D

I think it is. I've been able to pull a few items from the Frosty Claw vending machine when it's not lagging, but then again, the others aren't showing up as easy.

Is it supposed to be this difficult to figure out where things restock? What a pain.

No problem! So far, I've seen the Long Jingle Bell Hats, the Winter Dresses, the Tree Stickers, the Squishy Reindeer plushies, and the Snow Fairy Plushies so far. I think the clue was in the "get 'em while they're cold!", which made me think of the Frosty Claw, That, and the retirements that are supposed to happen at the shop in the Artic Frost.

I hate this. Why are you closing the holiday shop? It seems like all that's being done is making obtaining these items even more frustrating than before >_>.

...err and which shop is the wrapping paper going to transfer to after the holiday shop closes down? Or is it going to only be vendable after that? 0_o; I preferred the holiday shop myself but change isn't always bad I suppose. Might actually make it easier to get the specific kind of item you're after this way since they'll be in a shop specific to that kind of item. =3

At first I was really pleased to hear that that the holiday shop wouldn't be used anymore but now I guess that just makes things even harder lol Careful what you wish for and all that talk Oh well at least now they can be vended

grumbles Are these items are rare as the Fireside ones, too? I just dropped 1,000 tokens in the machines and got ZERO. And there's terrible lag as I try to vend.

Casually accidentally clicks post comment without putting a comment whoops.

I guess I'll have to hunt down all of the machines they'll come out of, and hope I get everything I want. I don't have the time to restock this month, haha.

So that's why there were no Fireside items in the Holiday Shop this year. That is not clear to me at all. This is clearer, but I don't think I'm going to spend my time searching all the shops for the items. The Holiday Shop was so nice, it had all the items right there!

It means they're only available this year, 2013. They'll retire on New Years.

By "remainder of the year", does this mean they are permanent items or does it mean they will retire on January 1, 2014?
