haha well the whole point of his story is at the end he lives with the guilt and suffers alone ;)

kipling's profile was one of my favourites to work on, so it's great to see him win the pet spotlight. ;v; congrats on the win bby! ❤

Here's hoping that Kipling's story continues on with something along the lines of "... and he knelt down before the Lord for the first time in a very long time, and poured out all his troubles and doubts and worries and bad actions, and asked God for forgiveness, and wisdom to know what to do next, as well as the courage to do it.
That Sunday, there was no sermon. Instead he stood before his congregation and lay his soul bare. He told them of his struggles and his sins, and asked them, too, for forgiveness. He told them that once he walked out of the church, he would be turning himself in, and that he'd be grateful for any kind soul willing to accompany him to, making sure he does what is right and goes through with it.
Kipling was in due time incarcerated, but did not find his time in prison that unbearable. He was just, after all, with likewise sinners as he, and found himself closer to his Heavenly Father than he'd ever been before. He struggled still with what he'd done on that fateful night; after all, sin can be forgiven, but the consequences remain. A young man had suffered at his hands, and for that imprisonment was the just punishment."

One can hope.
Very clever story-telling, ! I was hooked right 'til the end, and kept thinking about it long after. I was so angry with the character of Kipling; I have to hope that he would do the right thing, even if the story ends before we find out.
