Thanks so much for doing this! By including one non-holiday items, you've reduced the sp I have to spend by almost half. Today I got three amulets and about 230k profit. And last night I just about broke even on sp, but also got five amulets. These quests are definitely worth it for me.

People need to stop complaining about losing sP. Quests are supposed to have some risk- a chance of losing some, a chance of gaining a lot. Just be careful how you play it!
However, I have to say that this doesn't solve the problem I made a thread about- the fact that graveyard shops keep piling up and now cannot be circulated thanks to becoming game prizes, so they're extremely devauled and replaced the holiday items in the problem Quentin's change was supposed to solve. Making him accept one ordinary shop item as well now is counter-productive in my opinion, you could instead expand him to include non-holiday but renewable game items (like the bonus prizes Maleria and Cursed Quests now give out, or Matlal's Jewels items), including his own graveyard shop items. This would not only help stem the flow further, but circulate the items once again and perhaps reduce them eventually.
Or make another quest to accept what Quentin currently doesn't in terms of game items. Up to you, but Quentin is now causing the problem he was supposed to solve.
For me, the down side if this is that now, even though Quentin is randomnly giving out hefty amounts of sp, Saggi seems to be sending me off on 1 item quests so that he doesn't have to give out large sums of sp, so less profit to be made doing Saggitarius quests.
Lol @ everyone complaining. If you're losing shitloads of money, that's your own fault. As a rule of thumb, don't spend over 5k per item. I just made 50k profit and I haven't even done half the quests for the day.

Still so much money! @ I don't get the people who complain about doing these. If you don't like what they ask for, just cancel it and ask for another quest. I never spend more than 15k for Quentin and I always come out on top in items and amulets... and now sP!

i dont understand the complaints about losing money on the quests alone because the way i do them: do them all week and save my amulets. wait till i have at least 10 to t urn in. so far i have always received more than 1 tome out of 10. if i can sell those for ~4m thats 8mil i made right there.
in a matter of 2 days i made 50mil from saving up amulets and selling off my tomes (and shinwa items). but if its not worth effort to a lot of people then oh well lol.
I am glad too know the amulets still have the same chances. Otherwise, I wouldn't have any reason to bother.
Well, other than that one payout of 100k, I think I lost sP overall. I love getting sP, it's nice, but I barely got any items, and I'm still trying to get GY shop books, so... bleh.
It's nice that he gives sP now, but I think it still needs work.

Have done six quests and barely broken even. Four crap items and two sp payouts that about covered what I spent for all them. Still waiting for that 'really nice payout that makes you feel warm and fuzzy'. Have to say I really liked this quest before the change. Not a huge fan anymore. :(

You still have the same chance of getting a mage amulet, it's separate from the item/sP prize.
I've only done 10 quest so far but... I'm not very impressed. Yesterday by now I would have probably atleast gotten an amulet, or an interesting item, but so far I've only got some sP that barely paid for the quest or not at all. I liked doing them beforehand because even if I didn't make any money back, I felt having the chance for the mage amulets is what made it worth it, but now with what seems to be a pretty high chance on getting a small amount of sP... eh doesn't seem as worth it anymore. I got like 60k on the tenth quest which was surprising but not too motivating tbh.

I just did my quests. I got 1 amulet, and 1/3 of my quests gave coins. Only 2 were "big" payouts (more than 15K). I'd really rather have those 10 that got coins have a chance at amulets. Not a fan myself :(
