Maybe the endeavor would hold more interest if the wings since they were obviously made softer, could have some folding in them? Like all the ripples in the NPC Merana, her fins look fluttery and super detailed. Just a suggestion, I think rippled fin wings would just make him pop with that contrast so much more. :}
The horseshoe crab head on that bhakoru. o-o Good choice mate! His energy and pose is very appealing! Has some real personality showing through! :D

I think I can kinda see what people are saying about the endeavor looking a little plain, but i think it looks really great nonetheless! I like the pose a lot (and oh god it must've been such a pain to fit in that square canvas) and i really enjoy its general design with the way there are kinda.. stripe-y type things leading to the darker color HA I DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORD WHAT I MEAN UM. the markings look really good and i like that they're not super.. overbearing-y? but yes, i like this endeavor, it looks good~
the bhakoru. i'm HAHA god i love bhakoru so damn much so of course i have a big dumb baby screaming "OH GOD I LOVE SO MUCH" reaction at any new one but I MEAN THIS ONE IS REALLY. the pose is really well-done ugh and it just looks so... hell yeah.. that expression is just great and it just SEEMS SO ENERGETIC and it has so much character i'm so glad... i really love the hydrus-y features on it!! the... head plate thing looking horseshoe crab-ish is such a BEAUTIFUL TOUCH and i really really like the spine/fin thing (especially how it is kinda transparent, it is my biggest weakness when pets have features that are kinda transparent-y) and the way the markings were handled!!

Normally I'm a fan of Hagane's Endeavor art, but in this case, I find the Hydrus Endeavor a little...underwhelming? No offense meant, but there are several improvement points mentioned by Shalashaska and other artists that could help improve the look of the Endeavor.

The Bhakoru is great! The endeavor looks a little... soft? It doesn't look as metal-y or sharp as I'm used to seeing the endeavors, but it still looks pretty bad ass.

The Bhakoru looks AMAZING and I'm very happy to see that it is gaining some colors! (Sweetheart and Spectrum Bhakoru soon please?!) The Endeavor seems a little... awkward to me though? The head looks like its facing too sharply in one direction for its neck, and the wings are kind of simple for Endeavor wings. Not a bad try though! I bet that one was particularly challenging to make Hydrus. Kudos, artists!

The Bhakoru is really great!! I love how the one part of his head looks like a horseshoe crab~ The Endeavor is nice too, but the wings look squished and it looks... kinda plastic. :x It was an excellent attempt to fit in such a restricted space though. I really like it nonetheless!! Great job, artists c:
The Bhakoru is great, but... there is a lot I'm finding uncomfortable about the Endeavor, which is a shame, thought it's a VERY good attempt at getting a large pet in an interesting pose into the box. Perspective and texture on the Bhakoru is amazing though! Kudos to the artists.

The level of detail on these seems so vastly different... I love the pose on the Bkahoru and the seaweed and srsly can we just talk about how great the back fin and the tail looks?? I like that the Endeavor has some barnacles and such on it but meh... the wings could have used a lot more detail to spice it up, like some more sea-life clinging to the wings or some seaweed floating around to make it more dynamic since now the wings are just big flat spaces. The art isn't bad by any means, but it falls flat for me.

Wow that Endeavor looks terrible. :| I don't think that it's too plain, I just think that it's bad. The pose is really awkward and the anatomy is nonexistent; there's no sense of underlying structure, and the feet are just... Tubes with tack-on toes, where is the love? I think cartoony art styles are great, but it doesn't work here at all, not when Hydrus pets are supposed to feel intimidating and powerful. This guy doesnt look like an evil cursed robot dragon, he looks like a cheap villain from Voltron. He's flat and it makes me sad.
