I didn't have trouble but I didn't fight enough to get to another tier. At least I got some in though.
I was really looking forward to the mini gelatins. I hope they can return later on :). I didn't have any problems with my achievement for them but I'm sorry to here others were having problems with it. On the other hand the new battle opponents have me curious. I hope Calvin Blackmoon will be an opponent for all the times he he tormented us with the site is down page while questing, ect ^_^.
Count me intrigued! I can never be bothered with grinding away at Gelatins, but there's plenty of opponents I missed fighting in the past that I'll be quite happy to have another shot at.

Bye bye gellies. I only managed to get to 25 before I got bored. Heh. New (and old) challengers can be fun, though I hope there's some I can handle. I've only really gotten into battling these past few months.
I'm hoping some older challengers come back from older plots...my pet was so weak then...would be nice to have a second chance...
YAY SO EXCITED! And if those challengers drop their same loot, I'll be able to die happy.
I am hopefully that there is a nice array of challengers for both the young and old pets. I despise seeing an overload of challengers only for the high end pets.
My first thought was "But I was finally being productive with them :(" Then I saw old opponents. And then I was overjoyed.
Pssh, that's nothing. I've got over 400 hundred books!!!!
For me, although the prizes are great, the gelatin war is just a big time waster. I"m excited to finally get a chance to battle enemies that came out before my pet was around, even if I can only beat easy, medium, and a few hard enemies.

That is a super horrible shame about the gelatins since I was totally ready for the lower tiers to die en masse this time....
but ma I cannot express how friggun happy I am that you guys are cancelling the whole thing since it's not an easy fix and doing something else. If it's buggy, what else can you do? So thanks :)

Aww at the achievements not working properly, but it's better to cancel the Gelatins now, than continue them and find people get really annoyed at the achievement count not adding up correctly....

No point in running an event if the most fun part for alot of people does not work properly, so I think it was a good desicion to just cancel it for now. Also the chance to fight some old opponets instead sounds very promising!

Awww, I was hoping for an Essence and I was looking forward to the Wizard. Oh well, I think I'll just ship my excitement over to the old opponents, will be interesting to see which of them will make a return and how my chances are now. :)

Cool with this, but hoping for another gelatin war in the near future? Never really got a chance to participate in anything higher than the minis before, was looking forward to the other waves now that I actually have a pet with good training and weapons.

Okay, new/old opponents this week, and hopefully gelatins later this year instead? Sounds awesome to me! I hope the old faces include some opponents I wasn't strong enough to fight the first time they were here.
(I got my slayer two years ago, and a core last year, so I'm not as down about postponing the gellies as I would otherwise be, heh ^_^; )
Aw, I missed the opportunity to beat up on a few jellies because I was at a retreat! Glad to hear there may be another gelatin war later on in the year though. Plus I'm super stoked to see which opponents will make another appearance!
