i think i'm going to have to join the boat of people here who are disappointed with the lack of viruses this february, as this is my first "actual" pandemic. i joined over a year ago, however i was inactive for a large period of time and missed all of the events last year. i feel like the event is coming to a close soon, as well, as february is a few days from ending. kind of really sucks, but don't get me wrong, i really enjoy the new color and items and getting achievements, but it'd be a lot better with a plot line. i especially feel like the story regarding ecks and skitters is unfinished, though.
but, i digress. i really like the illumis; it took me a moment to realize the art for it was to imply it was once pinned into a shadow box i assume, for that of a bug collector. nice job!!
Frankly I'm quite happy with this event and I've never been a part of the pandemic? If one joined SL just to get into the pandemic they're missing out a lot of good attributes on this site other than plots and stuff. I'm glad they released a new color, and that they revamped the Chai because I felt it really was needed.
People can complain about what they want, but February is almost ending? I mean, I understand complaining a little, but come on. Don't get focused on just that, sometimes changes happen for a reason. I'm still going to love this site, with or without a pandemic. It's a good place, and I have fun here either ways c:
No one ever promised that it would be an annual event, or that there would be a plot event at all. Plot-wise it wouldn't make sense that the pandemic would last forever. I think people need to take things a little less seriously.

Yea I understand Thunderbird but still, new (Although SO awesome) pets don't make up for a whole missing event. Meh whatever, I'm not going to bitch about it except by saying it made me sad. That is all.

Thunderbird what are you talking about? People are voicing their opinions over this sudden change without a fair warning. There are newbies that have come here to experience the Pandemic first hand, only to be cheated out of that. And this cannot be called a real event when all everyone is doing is click to get hearts. Many are disappointed, and many more are bored with this event. There should've been something mentioned either during Keith Answers or even during the KIKI last month.Something. Even after the event ended last. Just typing a message at the beginning of the week that looks like a Mad Lib won't cut it.Also others cured not knowing there won't be any new viruses.
I just hope the staff listens this time, and don't make the same mistake again. And that they don't do V-Day before or after the actual holiday itself is over. What business do you have anyways telling people to go do something else any how? They have the right to enjoy this site and enjoy something other then just V-day stuff and just catering to one side, one group only. This was not a good business move on their part. They need balance things out properly to make BOTH sides happy.

All you Debbie Downers need to go find something else to do with your time other than complain about the new pets, the lack of a new virus and/or plot, and everything else.
Subeta has done so much this year for the Survival celebration. For one, the new Sweetheart pet color and now, new Graveyard pets. Do you know the last time Subeta released a pet color? Nostalgic in December 2011. That's over a year ago. I suggest you guys look on the bright side here and consider that.
Also, the Chai looks perfect! It looks like it could have come right out of the movie "Saw" with the missing eye over its skin, chain around its neck, and messed up leg, as well as the barbed wire antennae. I also love the Illumis - it looks like that could be a cane in its hand instead of a needle sticking out. The Pherret isn't my favorite pet, but still looks well done!
DAT ILLUMIS.

I'm happy with all of these. I didn't get the pherret at first but then I saw pose and placement of the cuts and realized it was supposed to be a stole.
The Illumis makes me think of a crippled old urchin with that pin as a walking cane. XD

Going to go along with the crowd here and say that the Illumis looks amazing! I'm not usually into the Graveyard pets (except the Donadak because it looks like stone and such), but I just love that pose.

I admit I'll miss the way the old Graveyard Chai's antennae were bent at odd angles but I see that the new one has its leg stuck in a bear trap! An improvement, although I think it looks a little flat in places (most likely the shading on the leg and the ear style)
The Graveyard Illumis is delightful! I was wondering how it would be differentiated from the Bumbus but the curls in the mane and pins do it for me.
The Graveyard Pherret looks like someone turned it into a fur stole. It doesn't top the Graveyard Terracoon for me but I like how comical it looks.
