Glacier Endeavor

Do robots actually feel cold? We can't make any assumptions, but it sure does seem that the glacier endeavor has taken a chill. Clever programming!

not sure how this could get accepted, really. the art looks like older subeta standards, and strays from the robotic type endeavors are. the pose is nice, but that's really it for this colour.

It needs more ice and the feel of bitter cold.

Dang I like the pose for sure, but that colour seems like old subeta style. Especially in comparison to other glacier pets. Im not a huge endeavor fan anyway, but still a bit sad D:

bummer, it has nothing about the glacier feel, that frozen cold icy atmosphere and for a metallic robotic creature looks too organic, not comes out what this pet and colour would be about. ((

I really like the pose. But I'm not really a fan of much else about this one. ;_; It looks really... soft, I guess would be the word I'd use to describe it. It seems like all the places that should have sharper edges are really dull. And I agree with others - I kind of wish there was frost and icicles hanging off the pet here and there.

Gonna be blunt, this looks like older art somebody found and decided they might as well upload. I thought it WAS older art at first. The pose is nice, but it overall really is low quality compared to most of the pets nowadays, it's really out of place. :(

I really, really love this pose. It has so much personality. Even though the nature of the pet doesn't allow for facial expressions, the body language was super well done. It could say a ton about the character and it's really versatile! It could simply be chilly, or it could be saying "I don't care", "I'm angry with you" or even "I'm yearning for ____".

I only have a few things I would change about this. My first critique about this pet is the wings. While they are supposed to be metal and show that, they appear to be shaded in a way that reflects the old style of subeta pet art. I think with a little more detail in the wing shading, the pet would look a lot better and much less "plain" as other people have said it looks. I understand that the wings of most of the other endeavors look like these ones, but I think with shading like the non-rusted parts of the steamworks endeavor or even the type of shading the nightmare wings have would give it just that little touch of "something" that it needs.

The other thing bothering me is the tail. While the ice-horn and various claws are well done, the spikes on the end of the tail and the toe-nail-claws sticking out from beneath the tail don't quite look like ice and are a bit confusing with their placement. I didn't realize the toe-nails were coming from the foot for a while and they looked like they were coming out of the tail at a really odd angle. The spike closest to the viewer at the very end of the tail is the only other thing I'd change. It looks a little too thick and doesn't give the delicate feeling of ice that the other parts give. I think it should be more like the horn on the head to give that feeling.

Other than those three tl;dr things, I absolutely adore this pet and I'm even considering getting one in the future. I've always liked endeavors and this one was executed very well. Just change the wing shading, toe-nails, and tail spike and I think it would probably look just right. C:

I agree with comments that it seems a little plain. I really wish there was more detail on the eye, maybe a pattern on the wings since they do seem to be the highlight of this pose... maybe some ice on the wings as if they have frozen over? Or icicles hanging off them? Idk, a little extra something could have really helped this pet. Either way overall I like it- I love the pose.

Is it just me, or does it kind of look like it's melting? It seems to have softer/rounder points and edges than most endeavors, and the curling wings add to the melty look. That's not necessarily a bad thing at all; it's just the first thought that came to my mind. I like it and i'm considering changing one of my endeavors (Tovarisch) to glacier, but i really like him nuclear...i think this look might actually fit him better though...hmm...

I'm kind of neutral about this design. It's a different and unique pose, but for me the wings are a problem. The site artwork is fabulous, but somehow the wings just don't match up to the body in this image. They look flat for something that's curving.

But to each his own! :) Nice job.

While I like the art here, it doesn't quite have the same cold, distant/annoyed feel as the other Glaciers, I feel. The pose looks almost vulnerable and the Endeavor itself could use some more hoarfrost or icicles in my opinion. It looks so plain somehow.

The pose is cute but I miss the usual icicles and things that go with glacier pets. I wish there was at least some frost or something on the wings. I know the horn and claws are made to resemble icicles kinda, but its just not the same :(
