I normally don't read the pet spotlights, but I read this one. And now I'm incredibly sad. I think most of us have experienced having to put a beloved pet down, or are going to someday.

Congrats Amanda. I'm so sorry for your loss. :( It must have been hard to write the story. I've been meaning to make a tribute pet for my family dog who died of old age in october...it's just hard to bring myself to do it, though it will be done eventually
