The new devonti is lovely but scrolling down and seeing the old kumos for comparison. The old kumos looks much better. I also agree what someone else said about the new one looking more like a pup then a mature kumos.
This update in the Devonti made me realize that those were its horns in the old picture, I thought it was the moon!
Did anyone else think that the yellow thing behind its head was the moon? ^^;

aw man my sister is going to be so upset when she sees the new devonti. she just enchanted her pet "counting sheep" because she loved the old one so much. this one does have a lot better anatomy, i agree, though.
I'm not exactly sure why the old galactic kumos needed a revamp, being it didn't look like "old art".. maybe it was the shading, but meh, the new one is cute, too. :) good job

So adorable (though I also loved the horn of the old Devonti ) . I hope our artists are going to revamp some other galactic pets as well- I'd really love the Harvester to be revamped.
Oh, I still remember when the galactic pets first came out- guess I'm too old.
The Kumos is really adorable, though it does look a lot younger/pudgier than the old one. Kinda like a chibi Galactic! :D
One thing I loved about the old Devonti was that the horn looked like the moon. Sad to see that go, but the art is much nicer. :)

The wool/hair on that Devonti is really beautiful. I am not keen on the large yellow blots on the coat so close to the eye. I thought it was a double exposure when I first saw it.....not mad about the Kumos redraw sorry. Still has a very short muzzle and thick neck (differing too much in appearance from the other kumos')
I just wanted to hop on over here and address a lot of the "other pets are more in need of a revamp" comments because it's something that gets mentioned on every revamp of every pet on every pet site ever. Now I have never worked for Subeta so I can't say for sure what their process is, but I've worked for other pet sites and have done plenty of revamps myself. The artists know which pets need a revamp. It is their job to know. They know that some pets are "worse off" than others, but you have to understand something: Art is really all about inspiration. You can't force someone to draw something and expect it to come out good. Artists are going to redraw the pets that they want to, the pets that they have ideas for and motivation to do, not just the pets that have the worst art. Sometimes it takes a while to come up with a good revamp for a pet, and sometimes it has to go through tons of critique and edits, so it takes even longer. And then you have to take into account holidays and other deadlines. For example, this time of year is when the "scary" pets get released, so any happy springtime pets being worked on become less of a priority. Not revamping some pets just because other pets "need it more" is a huge block to progress. All the pets that need revamps will get them, just be patient. In the mean time, be sure to appreciate all the hard work that artists and other staff put into the site to make it look as lovely as possible!
they're cute but......... so many other colors that kinda needed revamping over these two, imo.
Sorry, but what on earth happened to that Kumos? It's so scrunched-up and awkward-looking. It's too small; it looks more like a cub than a full-grown Kumos.

I don't think that galactic kumos needed to be revamped. I would more appreciate revamp of bloodred one.
I loved the old Kumos though and I didn't think it needed a change. It looks a lot souless now :( It's head looks a little strange now but I'll get used to it
I prefered how the old galactic Devonti's horns resemble the moon but all well. Looks a lot nicer!

I LOVE BOTH, so cute! But, like everyone else, my only criticism is that the devonti no longer has horns in the shape of the moon. That's a shame, it was a nice detail.

Goodness that devonti! One of my favourite species by far, and now this one looks as magnificent as the rest of his kind! Look at his smile! ❤️ The kumos, on the other hand, I wasn't expecting an update for. However, he looks much sleeker now, and his eyes are so sparkly! Definitely nice to see him getting some love. Now the only thing left is to figure out an excuse to get myself a galactic pet again..! :D
Omg, normally I insert comment here about Serpenth and Bhakoru but this time. Omg. That new devonti is ADORABLE. I really can't tell the difference between the old/new Kumos though.
I wish the Devonti's horns were more detailed, they seem too plain compared to the old ones.

OMG THAT DEVONTI IS A-FREAKING-DORABLE
apart from a minor improvement in the anatomy- especially that crooked back and stiff hind legs- the Kumos didn't change much indeed, but he's definitely even nicer to look at (still, I think there are lots of pets who needed this update more!). the Devonti, on the other hand, has been given a wonderful replacement. I love how the golden swirls are at the tips of its hair instead of being, like, sticked on top of it. and it looks much more lively and convincing. great job!

I may just get a Devonti. That is one of the best updates I've seen for them. The Kumos is quite an improvement too!

I have a Galactic Kumos, but I never really noticed what the art looked like too much before as he has an overlay. Love them both though!
oh my gosh I love the Devonti! Devonti are one of my favorite pets, and while the old Galactic was just oozing adorable, the new one looks just as lovely and more consistent now. I also really love the change to the horns, unfortunately the moon texture in the updated one is much more subdued, but they look much more like actual horns now.
The Devonti looks good but the Kumos... it's like backtracking with the "improvement" as it looks to much like a pup and is just awkward with how "fluffy" it appears. The older Kumos looked mature and very slender and nice, honestly I don't even see why it was really even given a revamp.
