Missed this one, like I usually do when there is a new addition to the token shop :)

I like both the CW version AND this one... they are both similar, yet different enough to warrant wanting both. The way my luck is I'll probably not be able to get either one anyways, lovely as they are (dreamy sigh) LOL!

I noticed 4 restocks today and failed to get one every time :( Guess I'll put it on my wish list, not that I've ever received an item from my list ever. lol! Hopefully there will be another restock yet tonight :)

Got one!!! I was just resigning myself to totally missing it and was about to log off too. Oh Thank you for making this! I can never afford CWs so I love it when the official site comes out with wonderful items like this.

It has been said a hundred times (and I suppose will be said a hundred times more!) that official site artists can and sometimes will make items that resemble custom wears. It's the risk people run into when they use popular reference items for CWs! The next time there is a reading drive, a lot of book-based CWs that exist might find they have official items that look very similar. The same thing if there is ever another Epicon-type restock war, or another popular movie. CW makers know this - it is posted several times on the site, including the pages where custom items are submitted and the official CW FAQ!

Some people will like the CW version more. Some people will like the official version more. The CW version is still unique (and harder to get your hands on). Custom items are never going to replace official staff items, and a CW is never going to make an official staff item "off limits". This has been common knowledge from day one of custom wearables!

WITH THAT OUT OF THE WAY I LOVE THIS WEARABLE OH MY GOD so glad I was on when this restocked xD

This wig is going to be fun to work with. For those suggesting that staff artists comb through every CW to make sure they do not make similar items. . . at the rate that CWs come out we'd never have any normal release items. CWs are a perk, you are entitled to only however many you purchase, not the rights to said items. Once you submit the CW, it's not yours. . . .it's Subetas. So, they're making similar items to their own property.

Honestly I wish CWs would have been entirely Cash shop released from the get go, and maybe none of the butthurt with them being ~~super special~~ would have happened.

sighs I knew something like this was going to happen when CW were announced. Would everyone complaining about the CW "being ripped off" just be happy if staff no longer makes wears so this wouldn't happen? That's about the only way we can avoid this. I, for one, am happy over this wig. I never knew there was a CW until it was dragged up into this. Now that I saw the CW I love the official wig better then the CW.

Love the wig! ❤ Didn't catch that it is a Brave tribute but I haven't seen the movie yet.

The CW artist made a profit from their wig, so I don't really care if they're "offended" and it has been said that at any time subeta can release official items that are similar to CWs.

People need to start realizing that creating custom wearables is a luxury and doesn't give you very many rights. You are entitled to ten copies of your item, and nothing else.

Guys, it's kind of in the CW guidelines. " We may at any time release official items on Subeta that are similar to custom items". Furthermore the hairs are decently different while still being tribute to a very specific source.

The thing is, the same artist who did the CW Brave wig also did one of the CW Toothless items. I remember she had a hard time getting Toothless approved and I wouldn't blame her at all if she found the recent Toothless and Brave staff released items to be a bit... aggravating. Mind you, this is my opinion only. I just know if it was me I might be grinding my jaw a little right now.

I'm inclined to agree. It's kind of unfair to the CW artist(s) who work so hard to get CWs of certain items up on site, going through all of the very tight rules and criticizms before the items are actually approved by staff and then official items come out featuring the almost identical items. As lovely as the art from the artist is who did this current TS wig (still too wild for my tastes, though :P), maybe something should be done with reference to official items as is already asked for by people who create CW in regards to this CW guideline "You may not replicate, duplicate, heavily reference or edit any existing items on site." just to keep everyone happy? Like checking the wigs, etc, out before making a wearable that might wind up being a CW?

However, the two wigs are quite different enough for me not to have any issues with them XD

I don't know about Toothless, however, from How To Train Your Dragon...would be nice to see the CW version.

In the CW "Item Guidelines" it states, " You may not replicate, duplicate, heavily reference or edit any existing items on site." SO it doesn't seem fair to me that if Subeta had made this first the CW would have been rejected, but that the Subeta artists are not held to the same standard. Same goes for the recently released Dragon Training Kit item, when there is already at least one CW that is very similar. If I had paid CSC for the CW then this came out, I'd be very upset.

I can't believe I nabbed it! I'm so thrilled to see this as an official item. The CW version looks better and is more Merida-y in my opinion, but I don't have anywhere near enough money to buy CWs, so this is great.
