Sadly, Vesnali has ended. Hope everyone enjoyed collecting flowers and coins! You can still stop by and buy things from Esther's!
Don't forget to keep helping Emma with the Centropolis Green Project!
I don't get why the staff prances around saying "Vesnali lasts only one week". Ok so what? Why act like EVERYONE is supposed to know that, but favor facebook and twitter users by giving them a warning about something they should have "already known?"
woot! that was super fun! 3k tokens and i still don't know what to do with them :0
What do I do with all the left-over flowers? They're taking up inventory space...
Disney do you think newbies are going to know about that link off the bat? No they wouldn't. Do you even think most of the players on subeta are gonna look it up and read it? No not really. Not everyone is going to look for the information. Sometimes if the staff have troubles with their updates like they have been having the past month they will extend things. Plus it's more convenient to those whom don't have Facebook or Twitter and don't know the exact length. You shouldn't have to scramble around for any answers. It should be given when asked nicely. Not everyone is going to use Subeta Groups Jules and not many are going to go on the forums. Its understandable for newer users not to know. I think the older users should haven't any excuse to say "Well thanks for the warning" if they have been in the event long enough. But maybe an hour warning to finish off the flower sending would have been better before cutting it off randomly so people had the chance to send what they had while they had it. Any ways whatever the chase it was nice of them to extend it for as long as they did so I thank them for it.

Im upset.. i have been so busy with real life i barely had time to find flowers.. a couple days warning would of helped :(
Yeah, warning would have been very much appreciated. What do I do with these seedlings I have now? O.o
I'm kinda miffed about the off-site warning. I don't have twitter, I don't see the point and I rarely if -ever- check facebook. There should have been an on-site notice.
I do not use Facebook so I would never know about those things. Great event though.
Looks like the green project is finished, but there are still seeds & bulbs floating around. Clicking on them takes me to the news page instead of collecting them.
The point is, people shouldn't have to rely on things like that to get news that the staff could easily post on the site itself.
Crap! I had all these flowers I was going to give people today, too.. D:
Oh well, guess I'll save 'em for next year...
*spent them gee whiz sorry i'm awful with english
Well okay I guess. I haven't got most of this year's stuff but okay, I had a lot of coins anyway I just spended them all getting the stuff that was going to be retired. Well I'll have next year lol Hope there aren't any retirements then
I agree with everyone. A warning would have been nice. The staff at Subeta need to realize that there are NEW PEOPLE signing up on here everyday, and NOT EVERYONE is going to know when everything is going to end. It is a great event, but a warning on site would have been nice, not a half-assed warning off site.
The event was wonderful. Thank you guys so much <3
seeds still pop up but they don't go into inventory guess you can't collect them anymore
It was fun while it lasted!~ I'm glad to get a break from events now, my gallery needs some serious spring cleaning :)
just wanted to say thank you to all the staff involved in running this event...it was fun, tho i'm glad it ended when it did as i was beginning to feel a bit frazzled after two events following so closely on from one another...going to make the most of the down time now and prepare myself for the next event...once again, thank you... ❤
Really enjoyed the event this year, and all its gorgeous items. I wish it was longer, because I've been really grafting at work and I found doing all the Vesnali stuff in the evening really relaxing and great for taking my mind off stress. And even though I was working long days I managed to get everything I needed from the shop, and had enough flowers left over to buy some lovely art, to boot.
Looks like Emma made a good profit off me, though. I restocked quite a lot of seeds to throw at the Centropolis project just in the off chance there were going to be (gorgeous, botany-related) prizes after the achievements. Guess not? Ah well, you win this time, Emma. Just don't spend all that money I gave you on more awkwardly-placed tattoos.
why have I only now, once the event has finished, got a bad of seeds? :P
Loved the event.I do have to agree with others about the need for a warning. In past one has always been given about the end of the event being near. While I do have and abuse err use my Facebook, I disagree that that is the proper place to post the ending of an event for this site.A extra tip yes but the actual ending for an event? Not every one has or uses Facebook or any other off site social media outlet.
Ah, too quick, I bought more than I wanted but I still have lots of flowers =/
The next would be Fireside I think? Maybe we'll have another summer thing like last years, could be anything really. Probably a restock-war type of thing.
I was just wondering that since we have so many of these seeds do you think we could have the option to grow them in the gardens of Veta Lake?
How do we help Emma? I tried, and it just says "Great Work"
Ok, other than the rage, which will be our next event? :) This is the first of my six/seven years of subeta that I'm actually logging on everyday xD
It was fun. ^^
/quiet sobadj;sgsdkjs It was really wonderful this year! ;u;
that is not how a business works they do not just say surprise sale is done we didnt tell you at the start how long it would be to bad for you
Lol, just like with the trash collecting event, I was 7-8 bulbs and plants away from the last achievement. XD Just my luck. And I still keep hoarding the ones floating around the site.
Also guys... Do your research. If you don't know how long the event is, then find out. That way you can prepare to get what you want WAY ahead of the warning that comes on the second last day.
There is a forum group: http://subeta.net/forums/group/3932 Facebook and Twitter News Keep in the loop with hints, tips, teasers and updates posted on Subetas Facebook and Twitter
Join that group and you will know what was posted on facebook and/or twitter here is a link to the thread: http://subeta.net/forums/view/827545/1
Just popping in to say that only warning people off-site isn't right. Not everyone wants to subscribe to your Facebook and Twitter posts and there's people that don't even HAVE Facebook or Twitter. On-site warnings are needed.
uh.. besides all the complaining
is there anything that will happening with the garden, since it seems to be - completed? o.o we are able to find seeds after all
I agree with everyone else on the warning thing, I was actually saving the remainder of my flowers for just before the ending :/ The event was good though :) The planting thing was a nice side thing. Lots of achievements! :D
Yeah, I agree with everyone- this was rude to just end without any REAL warning on the site. I am seriously sitting here hoarding a ton of flowers that I was going to mass give to someone for some art on the forums, and now I can't. All that work for nothing, but if I had warning it would have been sent right away.
Not happy about the lack of warning. Offsite warnings don't apply in my opinion, how hard would it have really been to announce it here?
I guess I don't ever remember Vesnali actually lasting a week.
While I am not at all upset about it ending, like many other users I would have appreciated a warning on-site. Facebook and Twitter - where it seems the warning was posted - is not Subeta, and I feel should not be used as a reliable bulletin board source. We play on Subeta, and such information should be established through Subeta, not other websites. :(
Well we finished the garden. What now? ^_^
This is my first year, and I had no idea the event was supposed to last only a week. It was fun and I enjoyed it, but I cannot imagine why there wasn't a warning posted here. Not all of us check twitter/FB every day. In the future, please post site news ON THE SITE.
http://subeta.net/subetapedia/index.php?act=ventry&id=95
It's only a week long event guys. It's been that way.
you cant say its been that way because some of us never experienced it, ALOT of us.
Just a heads up.
Seeing what people have been writing about subeta staff posting warnings on facebook and twitter. This might not be such a good idea if you're only doing it there and not on the site itself on the news page. I, myself, don't have either twitter or facebook and I bet some other people don't have those as well.
It kinda makes sense that you should post news/warnings on the site itself that it might be about :)
I can understand wanting to post warnings on facebook/twitter but I think they should also be included on the site.
Perhaps as an incentive to use facebook & twitter. Warnings could be put on there "sooner" kind of like having a secret extra place to go you know what I mean? And then later the day posting it on the site.
Awww :( It ended so soon. NEED TO SEND FLOWERS o.e
The only reason I had an idea of when Vesnali was ending was through dumb luck while browsing the forums (there was a user who was asking why Vesnali hadn't ended yet, using evidence that it was supposed to be a "week-long celebration"). I think posting a warning for EVERYONE should have been a priority, though. Not everyone has social networking sites and you can't expect some people to go perusing the forums. A warning was posted for when the Masquerade was coming to a close...so why should Vesnali, a similar event, be any different?
I think it's obvious that the Staff need to do more warnings on the actual site itself. They need to consider that not everyone has a Facebook account nor want one. Just because some people do have Facebook doesn't mean they are going to tell everyone something the that staff should be saying themselves. A warning that it was going to end before hand would have been a lot better for the entire user base. Vesnali was pleasant and fun but start doing warnings more often it'll help keep the complaints down.
Sooo.....How many of us hate that this was only announced on Facebook and Twitter?
Yeah....Pretty sure 98% of the users would have liked this actually announced /on the site/.
WIsh we got a warning.
Though I had fun, and I've always known this was not a long event, I do admit that I don't use Twitter and I rarely go no Facebook. I'd have to agree that something like an event ending on-site should be announced on-site over something like Facebook and Twitter. Even if it was just announced on that little yellow-ish bar that pops up at the top of the site every so often to alert me of things.
