Bug Guy Joe Update

Luckily for all the pacifists out there, Bug Guy Joe has released the following letter:

"I heard that you people\'s was having trouble hitting bugs. Maybe you have one eye, I don\'t know, I shouldn\'t judge. Or maybe you are one of them people that couldn\'t hurt a fly! Hah, bug joke!

"Either way, I have decided that I could be convinced to, you know, give you the info in exchange for something else. Such as stacks of money, for example."

This was super easy for me, and you have NO idea how bad I am at games. For real, I'm absolutely awful. And my laptop's pretty crappy, too. But it's nice that you offered this for the people who can't do it for whatever reason. If only you could do something similar with the battling...? :)

I had no idea people were having issues with this...... I beat it on the first try at level 9.... Granted, I've never even held an iPad or whatever the heck else people can access the site from, so I have no idea how difficult it might be using something other than a computer. o_o;; (CLICK SPAM ANYONE??)

I appreciate the fact that you added another option for people having trouble! Shows you care :) With subeta would do that for other areas.... coughRESTOCKcough :P

This step was rather easy for me with my tablet, but I can imagine people would have trouble with it xD I was only lucky that I had a few well-trained pets that only needed a few hours more (and hundreds of tries) at taking all the training bots down!

Now if only they'd either lower the level for the coliseum battles. Yes, FIX the ridiculously easy thing and make sure that anyone who has a basic stat pet can't get passed the lucha libres.

Brilliant, Subeta. Brilliant.

i think it was easy, just spam clicked everywhere =p got to level 11 or something then got bored

but i understand that some people were having issues, and i see how that could be so.

glad you did this c:

I know this would have been difficult if I had of used my laptop, the track pad is old, the buttons only work half the time and it lags terribly. Glad that I had a decent desktop set up when this part was released.

i couldn't beat this game with a macbook pro touchpad. there are no buttons on it, clicking will damage your touchpad (you really have to click hard on these things to perform a click) and the option to tap (which i have turned on all the time because it's better than crushing the pad) just doesn't cut it for the game, as it can cause it to lag out. thankfully i stole a mouse and beat it in ONE try, so i'd say this game is definitely more suited for mouse clicking.

due to all the downtime, who cares if others want to buy their way through this step (which is 2 giant steps behind almost everyone else)? everyone should get a chance to finish the plot, whenever the end may be lol.

Anyone remember playing this on mario paint? I didnt think it was difficult at all, I just got bored beyond level 11, but I didnt really think about people who dont have a mouse, that would definitely make beating this game REALLY hard. Dont just let everyone buy their way out of every part of the plot though! I beat the dummies with nothing more than a star rod and my completely untrained pet so it IS possible!

It is called a screen reader. Also, you can adjust the text size of any website.

You think blind/visually impaired people just don't use the internet or something?

The game was a bit challenging, but I used my track pad and got to lv 9! This is really nice that people have the option to pay instead...I wish I didn't have to fight the dummies :c I'll never be able to join skitter's team now

When I click on the mat, it says

"He shakes his head emphatically. "No, just the venom." You thank him for this time, and decide to take this information back to Skitters." I'm in the current step of the plot. I don't know why it won't let me play :/

i'm glad to see that they're offering an alternative method for the people who are having trouble. =)

however to those not understanding why people are complaining bout the track-pads. My track pad is hard and difficult to use, it doesn't really like to respond to any /normal/ use much less trying to play a game on it. there would have been no way at ALL for me to have beat the game if i were trying to use my own. makes me quite thankful i have a wireless mouse. not every one has an easy time using their track pads any how.

Yeah, I beat the game on my first try, but it wasn't entirely easy. It was probably the biggest difficulty I've had, short of restocking those items while the site keeps going down, of course :3

I use a trackpad, and I had a super easy time. You just have to know how to use one with both hands. One hand on buttons, another on the moving. Idk how people can find it hard oAo

I totally had a leg up on this with my pen tablet, but I can understand how it'd be difficult with a trackpad or even a mouse. Thanks for being so considerate to those who couldn't pass the stage. ^^- Just curious, how much money is he asking for now?

LOL awesome. :D I did it with a touchpad on the first try but I can see how it'd be impossible/annoying as fuck to use one!

Oh people, don't be so hard on those who aren't good at the game. We all have our things that we are inexplicably troubled in. I the bug game first try with a trackpad easy, but you should see me try to play Guitar Hero. My brain can simply not comprehend the relations of the buttons to what's going on on the screen. Or how I cooked my first souffle before I managed a decent grilled cheese sandwich.

I really don't understand the complaint of I had to use a track pad. So did I and I got it on the first try. This really wasn't that difficult, but I am glad that this option was released for people who have legitimate reasons as to why they couldn't complete it.

I don't see how a touchpad laptop could make this game hard at all, if anything, it made it super easy. I use a stylist with my touchpad and it made far easier than using a mouse simply because I could instantly move across the screen and click, no lag at all. And it is also very easy to hook up an external mouse to a laptop.

I wish this option had been present earlier, seeing as people who access Subeta from cellphones had no way to play the game [since it's a flash game], and people on laptops that strictly use their touchpad had a lot of difficulties as well. I completed it just fine on the first try, but I use a mouse, so it's a little different. So thank you guys for finally providing this option. :]

Now if only there was a way to bribe someone for those sneaky Splittifish (not that its hard for me-I'm just having no luck fishing them out)
