The Dolly Parton fan in me doesn't want to approve of the description for this item, because she knows that I Will Always Love You was written and originally recorded by Dolly Parton and hates it when people think the song belonged to Whitney. The human being in me wants to let it go because she knows that everyone is still in an uproar from Whitney's passing...and doesn't wish to cause dramaz.

I was at a restaurant when I heard, my dad and the waiter were getting along well so he told him about it. He slipped an f bomb and thought we were joking. RIP. Whitney truly was an amazing woman with an amazing talent. :(

Yeah right! Of course music is much more precious than someone sacrificing their life for ungrateful people...

Still, Whitney was great!

&; RIP, Whitney! Thanks to Keith and the Subeta Team for this. It is a nice touch despite what some are saying on here. How's that old saying go? It's better to please some people all of the time then all of the people none of the time? Or something like that. You just can't please everyone so just do what feels right! hugs

Honestly, are we REALLY going to get a Free Gift every time a notable person dies? It's a nice touch here and there, but it gets a little saccharine after a while.

This is a gorgeous tribute item. I was so sad to hear this last night. RIP Whitney Houston. What a remarkable voice and such a stunning beauty. She is definitely going to be missed.

And , I know of at least fifteen items off the top of my head on Subeta that were made in tribute to, mention, or honor (I assume you're referring to American) soldiers, war veterans and Remembrance Day. If you’d like, I can comment some of them to you.

Ahh, the internet. People can't even mourn without having someone start an argument While she didn't kill or die for her country, her music sure was an important part of millions of people, that is why she is important, she changed a lot of people's life somehow and it made it happier.

, WTF? While people shouldn't be comparing Whitney's death to soldier deaths, soldiers don't "deserve to die"...

Awww I just read the description :/ I grew up with much of her music, style, influence in my younger years. She had a true natural talent that was undeniable. Sure she did not fight and die for her country but she supported them with her beautiful singing. She did a concert for example for the military and their families returning home from the Gulf War. Listen to her sing the Star Spangled Banner.

Who's comparing this to soldiers dying? That's ridiculous. They CHOOSE to risk death, and currently for a very stupid reason to support a fascist government so yeah... right now they deserve it.

R.I.P. Whitney. You are more than your bad decisions in life. I grew up listening to Whitney with my mom, those are some of the happiest memories of my childhood. My mom and I aren't as close as we were then. So sad to see her go this way.

RIP Whitney Houston what a nice tribute item <3

I personally am getting tired of seeing people making comments about how they don't care about her death because there are soldiers who die every day. You can't honor each soldier individually because there are so many who lose there lives daily. That is why we honor them as a whole, and created holidays for them, like memorial day and veterans day. Last I checked, Whitney does not have a holiday designated to her.

This is as bad a shock as when Bernie Mac died. For those of you who don't remember, a few days before his death I was reading that doctors/others were saying, "Oh, he's ok, he'll be out of the hospital in a few days!" and then he died.

Whitney wasn't even sick, and she wasn't even 50 yet...

So I rarely find celebrity deaths to be any more tragic than any everyday death. Sometimes even less so, if the death was through something like an overdose. Now, granted at time of typing this, her cause of death hasn't been confirmed. I mean, I find it much more tragic when a soldier dies overseas in the service of their country, but Subeta doesn't make a tribute item every time THAT happens. In fact, I don't think Subeta has ANY items like that. So that's my complaint. I may sound harsh saying this - but a celebrity's death just most of the time doesn't matter to me. I loved Whitney Houston's music, but there are far more tragic deaths out there that never get anything more than a small obituary in a backwater newspaper or a little line on a ticker in a news station. That's just my rant - thanks for the free gift.

I want to first say thanks to the Subeta staff, especially the artist who made this. This is probably the most tasteful thing I've seen about Whitney since her passing. All these news stories are going on and on about her drug problems and while they clearly affected her, I have hardly seen anything about the woman herself or her music in any of these articles and news pieces.

Second, I've always liked Whitney and her music. She had a huge voice and many of her songs would give me chills. RIP Whitney, I hope she's found some peace somewhere.

Never really liked her music (it wasn't my thing) but I LOVED her voice <3 We'll miss you whitney! I might have to spend today listening to her music in her honor.

And to all you people who think they do this before hand....I found out whitney died at like 9 something subeta time...this item came out after 1 which is 4 hours. We've seen a couple of items done on live stream and (bean's for example) and an item can be done in under four hours. It was probably started right after they found out about the death...that would be awful if they made wips of celebrity wigs incase the celeb dies.

What I don't understand is (I know there was already a wig for her) how Subeta didn't want to release an item for Amy as she was a bad influence with drugs and stuff. I mean... has everyone lived in a whole? Whitney abused drugs just as much. Still she had an amazing voice, too. RIP.

I posted this same comment on the forums, but I thought I would share it here as well.

It is so strange, on Friday night I was standing in line at the store with my Mom, and we saw a magazine cover with her on it...saying something about her struggling, and my Mom is like, "I wonder how long she will last.." And then last night not five minutes before I heard the news I was in my kitchen randomly singing one of her songs. I am not a singer, nor have we ever spoken about her really. It just is so wired to me, how she crossed my mind before I heard the news.

Man, you guys are so fast with these tribute items, so fast in fact, a few times in the past I learned the news here first!
