While I like the page, story, and art, I find the lack of capitalization irritating. It would really help to break up the sentences in the small print. Congrats.

Congrats Freya! I just recently read the books and the part when Manchee dies is the saddest. I always imagined him as a tiny white dog, though. The books were amazing, but the ending was very ambiguous.

Yaaay! I love this pet. And the books, just recently finished reading all of them :D

Noise in the books is men's thoughts. Very vague overview of the story is that a group of settlers lands on another planet, and when they get there they can suddenly hear all the thoughts of males, which they refer to as "noise."

I've never read the book that this character is based from but just from reading through his entire story, I'm guessing "Noise" is referring to what dogs hear when they listen to us talk, do daily - perhaps noisy tasks, and make.. well, noise? The word isn't really randomly placed if you read through the whole page. :p

Anyhoo, I enjoyed the story and look forward to reading the book! Lovely character. :)
