Staff, I love you guys for this but I'm a little peeved I've sold most of my great items for cash to get a custom wearable I wanted commissioned and made. Oh well, at least you're giving it to us, and now I've got another goal to save for.
i doubt this has anything to do with retirements, they are items from a PRIZE SHOP. if the points run out they are 'retired' anyway. this is either bc there are too few of the items out there (doubt this is the reason), or to try and make sp worth more by having ppl spend their money.
I bought one. The things I bought with the points are worth about the same as the card itself (combined) and it spurred me on to buy some things that normally I wouldn't even have thought of buying for a while. I love the Fran items and bought a few of them. And Yuna's half skirt thing too :)

Ooohhh, nice sP sink... I need to work out how many of these I need to buy up the vast amount of EPICon stuff I want (just about all the DnD-style items, several twice over) to stash away in TCs etc. All I know is, it's way more than I can currently afford :( at this rate I might have to actually start running my shop!
I'd afford that easily, but... I'm just too greedy to let go of even a teeny percentage of my millions stashed up and collecting dust. Dx To buy or not to buy? That is the question... It'd probably be taken off the Millionaire Center before I could even decide, me thinks.

So, is this just another nice chance for people to get EPICon things because there are lots of nerd users, or is this an attempt to stabilize EPICon item prices or something? Not quite sure what the staff is expecting EPICon to be.
Still, this is one of the things that I love about Subeta: rare items may be hard to get, but its not a situation of "You weren't there then, so sucks to be you!" And when it IS one-of-a-kind, its because new cool options are available, like with zombie skins.
This is the sort of thing that has made me stay with Subeta for years.

For me it was worth it. I still needed the most expensive stickers. Which added up for more money then I paid for my card.

Am I missing something? I've been comparing the user prices of the plushies to the cost of the card, and the card wins, hands down. (For reference: The 500 pt card at 17.5m means each point "costs" 35k.) The 500 pt plushie isn't even in any shops or trades, so how is it 7m?
Some other comparisons:
Thimble Piece Plushie - 1 in user shop for 10m ; costs 3.5m with card Mush Plushie - 8 in user shops, lowest is 4.25m ; costs 2.625m with card Lorenzo Plushie - 3 in user shops, lowest is 28m ; costs 5.25m with card
There are exceptions to the rule, like some of the low point plushies and the the Marco plushie break just about even, but all of the other plushies... BIG difference.
Now if anyone wants to give me a discount to beat the card price, I'm all ears! But I kinda doubt that's going to happen.
