The thick outlines on the Cybill don't really fit with Subeta's art style imho x:
OMG the cybill I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The hippo is awesome too except it looks like it has abbs on his face.... But otherwise it's great!
The Hipottu's face seems a bit off - literally everything about the pet is amazing except for something about the face that's bothering me. Gorgeous art otherwise -the wings are fantastic! Other than that it's great! Kudos to whoever thought up the Cybill's pose!!
Wow, the cybill is all ninja and the hippotu is just fierce. Not species I really favor, but the art on both of these are beautiful.

Wow, that cybill..! o.o The hipottu's face bothered me the first couple of moments, but I can see where the artist is coming from with the shading (so many lightsources close to the face!), so the bother has evaporated.

I'd like the Hippotu if it weren't for that face. Something seems really off. The eyes, the nose... Just doesn't seem right. It's clear that a lot of people are put off by the face. I know there's a 0.01% chance of that being fixed so... hope it'll look better in the next Reborn Hippotu revamp!... probably in 1 - 3 years.

I think I'd like the hippotu more if the ears were smaller and rounder and the face didn't have as much shading.. overall it's a little too busy for my tastes.. Well done to the artist though, must have taken a lot of patience!

They both are cute. I like the Cybil a bit more then the hippo, but its not a matter of art sake. I just love penguins. c:
I like the breathing fire look on the cybill. It's totally contrary to its usual penguinish look. It's like, "Look at me. I breathe fire. What of it?" xD The hipottu is cool too, but like others, I think something is a bit off with the face.

The nose on the hippottu is a little different from how they normally look. looks like a pig, rather than a hippo. other than that, BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!

The hipottu looks very nice, but the eyes do not seem to be glaring enough, so instead of intense it looks kind of tired. And the shading does not seem to match subeta, it seems too different.

And I disagree a little with the "cybill is lit by an internal glow" thing. I assumed it was more like the glow from the fire it was spitting out.
