Weekend Quests

Yeah, my problem is not so much "oh noes someone other than Saggi or the Wizard!!1" (as much as I do love those quests being the weekend quest, haha), but that the prizes really don't seem to be any better than the non-weekend version. :/ Having him pass out more would be a good way of making it worth it to do the weekend quest.

Well, I think the people who complain about Drunk Carl being the Weekend Quest have a point. A quest being spotlighted for the WQ means that prizes and sP rewards are increased for that particular quest. When the Wiz is WQ, the token rewards are always (that I've seen) 50 points and sP is pretty high for 95% of the quests (okay, I don't know the actual percentage, but it seems high). When Saggi's the WQ, 90-95% of the sP rewards I've seen have been much higher than normal. I would think that completing Carl's quests when he's the WQ would mean that 90-95% of the time you'd find him passed out to get the "increased prizes." Seems like that would be more in line with how the WQs are supposed to work. Maybe?

I don't have any complaints or anything, since I've yet to get a single piece of the map and thus have never done his quests before, but... It's the first time I've seen this NPC and is it just me or is his image rather... disturbing? O.o' Seriously, every time I see it I keep getting the song "I touch myself" playing in my head. Carl, you look like such a perv, haha. XD

Not sure if it is complaining to say that doing carls quests takes away sP from us...the idea of the special quests is to bring in more sP to us.

AWW, A QUEST WHERE I CAN'T MAKE PROFIT. IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE SAGGI + WIZ WQs. Every single time one of the OTHER quests is a WQ, people baww. It really annoys me. :/

Mm, don't think it's exactly fair to have a weekend quest where only those who have completed a map can participate. Just my two cents. Better luck next weekend, I suppose.

weekend stuck at home with an infection, I had hoped at the very least to have decent weekend quests... but he's not worth doing increased prizes or not.

I keep forgetting about him, so it's a good reminder to do his quests, at least :) And, the rewards aren't hugely better, but, better than usual ^^;

His increased prizes, as I noted from last time, go from 1000 sp to maybe 3000 sp, and you can't even buy most of the items for anywhere near that, so he really isn't worth it. I find the Library at least worth while. Oh well.
