Honestly, people, we got along just fine without the weekend quests and I should hope we can somehow manage to soldier on while they're being fixed.

And to those people who think they can run a website better then Keith & the rest of the staff are doing...DID YOU EVER PROGRAMMED PHP? Or managed servers? Or took a look at a giant database? Or....managed a website with a size like of subeta? No...well then maybe consider keeping you mouth shut and be patient. The staff works on it ^^

Of course I understand that they need time, but don't announce those quests then or put a remark that they still don't work.

I think the weekend quests are a great idea and will be glad when they are working again. Be patient people!

I think that if the Weekend Quests are not going to be working it would be a good idea to stop announcing them on Thursdays or any other day until this problem has been resolved.

I never said Thursday wasn't good or anything. Just that Keith has said it announcing on Thursday wasn't a bug because that's how it's always been and that's not the case.

Keith has said they are working on it. A lot of things got messed up when the server crashed and not everything is fixed yet. The reason they keep getting announced on Thursday is because that is when the cron is set to run it then so people in non USA timezones don't get cheated. That cron bug is also why the pet spotlight is wonky. It'll get fixed, but for right now. They're working on other things.

and then? When I want to start them on friday then it shows that it are normal quests and no weekend quests at all. It goes on like this already for several weeks, very dissapointed.

Last week-end wasn't any special quest, I was quite disappointed. So I am not really looking forward to this one.. If this one even happens.

Well, I hope it actually happens ^^

And as for preparing, I would probably try to vend books if I was sure the library quest was happening, for example. So announcing it on Thursday is pretty sensibe (of course, this is for when whatever goes wrong with these is fixed).

Everybody knows that the site has been having some issues that I'm sure they are working hard to fix so I think we all should just be patient.

Has nobody noticed that we haven't EVEN HAD weekend quests the last few weeks. They get announced on Thursday, then never happen. :P

Why would you need to... prepare for quests? It made more sense to me when it was announced at 12:00 AM Friday.

Honestly, it makes sense why they're announced on Thursday. Because if they start on Friday like they normally do at least you have a day to prepare for it in advance. Better than to mention it at some random point on Friday and lose out, especially for people in different parts of the world.

Now, let's hope this weekend will actually have a Weekend Quest... that's another story...
