I've just read over most of the comments to see if someone else noticed what I did, but it doesn't seem like it...
Don't Mahars usually have some extra gems on their sides and shoulders? I'm just wondering becuase they seem rather prominent on the normal colors - I did notice they are smaller and less noticable on the 'special' colors, but this is the first I see that entirely lacks them.
Pose wise, I find this pet came out absolutely amazing. Unlike most of the others here, I don't think the head is too big, either - the Mahar all have rather large heads, so the proportions fit (in my opinnion, at least). Maybe they really need all that room to contain their wisdom ;)

Um, so I've never wanted a mahar before, but I'd say this is a strong contender for my last pet slot. I am entranced and excessively impressed by the detail work on this guy, as well as the mood and just about everything else. But seriously the design is superb.

I like it. I mean, sure, the back legs seem a little too small in comparison to the head, but I really do like it. The artist has put a lot of effort into it, and I'm sure your praise would be more appreciated.

Why does everyone have to complain about the art? (on every pet, though usually there is more praise of course) Unless it's a flaw, it makes no sense for this site. Are there Mahars in real life? No. Therefore it makes no sense to judge the anatomy, especially considering Subetas art style isn't realistic to begin with..

I absolutely love this color mahar. I've been wanting to make a dragon-esque pet for awhile... so I will be changing a pet, or creating one of these very soon! As for the anatomy mistakes, well... I think it's hard to judge imaginary creatures, and I think it's a lovely, super detailed, pet. :3
