I love the rock-y texture on the skull. Such a devious little creature~ Not a big fan of the flames, but still, as a whole it's a MASS improvement.

Way to go, artist! Darkonites are getting the love they deserve. :'D

This revamp is lovely. I'm not sure I understand what people mean by a "Snarl". It looked more like it was saying "uuuuugh" in the older one. A snarl would involve more curls in the lip.

But that's just my opinion.

You can always ask someone to edit in a snarl on photoshop or something. It probably wouldn't be that hard.

Now this is looking a lot more like a darkonite! It's a great improvement. Nice sharp angles, square toes.. and the colours are wonderful It would have been a little better if the fire did have some transparency, it looks a little solid and silky not wild and hot like fire. Its a small thing though, I am happy to bypass that to the actual darkonite.
