To update, when Scarsdale came on, he fixed the profile so the TC and minion were real once again. Here's what he said back in the forums...

The TC bothers me the most.

They've tweaked the profile again.

The owners name, Scarsdale is now shown at the top, with the pets breed and color.

and to top it all off, even the trophy is hidden by coding :c

nods in agreement with Tche When I was on Staff, I also warned other Staff members as well. The site rules applied equally to everyone, Staff or not. I'm really not sure why that doesn't seem to apply to the Pet Spotlight rules. Also, to my understanding, each pet nominated IS checked by a Staff member (Creative Department?) prior to being placed into the selection queue. So how all of this has been being missed I have absolutely no clue.

I'm getting annoyed for one that these people keep winning. I believe this is the third pet in the last couple of weeks that has won, while rules have been broken. What's the sense in having the rules if they're going to be ignored? It's started to seem like they're just picking random people from a pool instead of actually checking them out. As easy as it is to get reamed in SB for saying something incorrect, you think that much effort would be taken so that people who break rules wouldn't be rewarded here.

Yep fake TC it really annoys me that this even happened when a lot of us actually put more than 10 minutes into a pet without faking it. I can let the owner and stuff slide off my back but the faked minion and TC? When is a line drawn here?

Okay, I was actually okay with the owner info and such missing, I thought it was a cute layout and a cute pet overall, but then to find out that not only they faked the 10k minion, but the TC was fake as well?! I've been spending a lot of time and sP slowly buying MKB's for 23 pets, and fifteen minutes of coding can bypass that?

I seriously hope that's against the rules.

I don't want to be rude but I don't see why this pet won... it breaks a ton of rules on the profile, there's no overlay and it's a really plain layout...

While I dont really care about the owners name not appearing, Im dissapointed that the pet treasure is fake. Most of us spend alot of money to get the items we need in those TCs and then on the MKBs to make room in there to fit them.

Funny, when I was a UA, I can tell you I warned other staff members and minimods for breaking site rules.

The rules apply to everyone.

Wonderful fan pet! Deserving of the win! ...And i must admit it took me a while to realize that this pet is named after a shop in the main shops. I'm slow...

have you not seen pee-wee or subeta or any of the previous fan pets with a load more to them? o.o

this pet is fine, although it would seem a lot more finished with an overlay or background. it's a little plain for my liking, but that's just personal, and congratulations scarsdale anyway :]

The treasure seems to be... replicated as well?

That seems just as bad as making a fake pet. Sure, they could have the exact same items actually in their treasure, but there's no way to see if that's true or not.

Just saying, it's a very nice pet and all but it's a bit disconcerting that it breaks/skirts the rules quite so badly from staff.

I find it quite funny that it's a Subeta programmer who broke the rule for hiding pet/owner info xD

it is against the rules, i've gotten warned for it. and i got a warning for foreign language after i'd won spotlight lol. chances are, if any rules are broken, the user will get a warning.

BUT! overall profile is cute & i like the name. XD
