the one thing I didnt want to happen = I liked surfing the pets and getting random ones each time. It's not going to be well much fun searching for a pet
Man, I really liked pound surfing. It was nice to search for those rare-colored pets and only be able to find them by chance. I rarely took one home but it was so much fun to do! I don't approve of this at all, really - the species search is nice, but the color? -shakes head- Nah. Not a happy option for me.

I like the new feature. I'm all good and happy with my pets though.. so it looks like I won't try out this feature for some time.
awesome idea, but can you put the species and color in abc order or something? its kinda hard to find what your looking for xD

-dies- nooooo. ;-; the species is good. and more pets at once even is alright. but I don't think I would have done color....
I'm against the color searching--it treats the rarer pets like restock items that you have to keep refreshing for, and when they do appear, they're gone in a millisecond. I'm never one to adopt from the pound, but I feel like this is doing a disservice to those who enjoyed coming upon a random cool pet.

Not loving the whole "search by color" thing, but do like the fact you can view more pets at a time. (although it does look a little awkward with the two on the bottom)

Horrible idea. Now there wont be any good colored pets to get. All good pets are gone. Even all experiments are gone, and common pets are 100% more unwanted than before - when previously user sould adopt a common pet because of the name/pity, this wont happen now.((
a very bad idea , not only does it take the fun out of pound surfing , all the painted/limited pets are gone in a nano second , all the common pets stay behind . this will lead topeople pounding their existing pets for hard to get pets .

as somone who is happy with the pets i have but may get more in addition to them one day i just have to say...it's glitchy...and i saw nothing to help one search for a specific color or species of pet.

Hm.... I see the benefits, but I'm just not down with the whole idea. I mean, I used to see like, a couple of different colored pets a day when I would pound surf, but now they're just... gone. I've searched through EVERY special color, and I only found one left; a bloodred canis with WAY too many numbers at the end of it's name. Sure, it could be seen as an easier way to find pets, but that's just it. There's no more excitement when it comes to pound surfing.

I have to agree with the pound surfers. This is a really bad idea and will lead to a lot of pets being adopted to soon-to-be-dead accounts. I'm also not digging the interface much. While I like having more pets to choose from, the alignment is off, the pets are bit scrunched and some of these buttons are too fat. Why not just have it say "ADOPT!" instead of "Adopt such'n'such"? We already can see the pets name so what's the point of mentioning it twice?
Hm! I like seeing more pets per page.
Yay! I has no pet slots yet, but I love being able to do filtered searches now.
Takes the fun out of pound surfing... And now it'll be harder to just find an awesome pet by chance. It's just like restocking.

Nooot really a fan of this one; I've got to say. :/ More and more pets will rot as visual trophies now, just like they did on neo.

Now if only we could search names using regular expressions....
To elaborate a little more on why I think this is not detrimental: consider that the pound's front page now shows 12 random pets. The color search has 15 (I think, too lazy to count) redraw colors to choose from. You have to look at each individual category, and most categories will turn up no results, so you have to cycle through. That takes time. People refreshing the front page have MORE CHANCES to see a colored pet than a pound-grabber browsing individual categories. Besides that, it's true that badly named colored pets will be adopted much more quickly, but heck, they rotted in the pound before this, who cares?
Although this doesn't affect me in the least, I think it's a really great idea. Especially for people seeking certain experiment pets!
Also, I don't understand why people are complaining about potential "pet snatchers" with this? We have a direct user-to-user pet transfer system with absolutely zero risk of losing a pet. Use it. Problem solved.
I'm not really liking this. I like that the pets are smaller and more are displayed at once, but I've never been a fan of searching by colour or species in a virtual pet site's pound. I was glad when Neopets got rid of this and I never wanted to see it here. 
Keep your eyes out for Bloodred pets. I'll be adopting common pets and pounding them in colors. 10 bloodred pets will be put in the pound.
I'm not for the 'loyal user perk' ideas, myself.
While I see where they're coming from, I think that sometimes sites that take that sort of dynamic too much to heart become no fun to play, and hard to get into. Also, it generates the sort of 'newbies aren't welcome here' atmosphere that can drive some sites to the ground.
I think leaving the search open for everyone is best, as really new users can't adopt anyhow.

Well, great idea, of course, wonderful.
Though, I'm sure everyone else will enjoy it, I gotta say I'm gonna hate the pound from now on. It was always fun to sift through pages and pages before finding that one gem of a pet. Now when it's a click away... The pretty pets are sure to go fast, and now searching is no fun (for me, anyhow).
Oh well. Good update, but not one that pleases me in the least, lol.
This completely takes the fun out pound surfing for me But I am pretty sure everyone else will love it.
I think it's a great new feature, even if personally I'd rather adopt for names. xD I'm sure it'll be helpful for many though! I can't wait until my account is old enough to adopt from there, 2 weeks can feel like an eternity sometimes |D;

This feature's fine with me. I think names matter far more than colors on Subeta, and the playing field is still even in that regard. You can refresh the pound as usual and hope to stumble upon an amazing pet, or you can frantically check each individual category hoping something will show up. In my experience, extremely desirable pets (very well named + super expensive color or experiment) get snapped up VERY fast no matter what. You get them by being in the right place at the right time with sheer luck.
