Other than alchemy points and achievements, does you pet's intelligence affect anything else? The Job Agency, for example?

The only job that's affected by intel is the SAI job (500+ I think). Other than that, it hugely affects the scrolls you can equip to your pet for battle. Edit: Just realised that's probably what you meant by alchemy points, oops. :P

Cedes - Yep, higher intel means a better shot at getting the job. I think you need 500 for the highest job, at the SAI. That's all it effects though, jobs and spells. [edit] Fever beat me.
