Hi everyone. I've just come back to the site after eight years away, having left shortly after the 2018 Morostide plot, and as I've been settling back in I've been thinking about the plots I participated in throughout my years on the site before I left.
I always used to get so excited for plot events. To this day, I still have an unhealthy attachment to the Council Cruise event despite it being relatively simple as far as plots go, and the two Jaxon/Ian events. Not to mention the Underground event, with Skitters still being my fave Subeta NPC of all time. I wish my memories of these events were better or I had thought to take more screenshots of some of them, because there are a lot of things that are just inaccessible forever now, but such is life. 😭
Does anyone else have a favourite plot event? A favourite character or moment from said plot events?
My favorite plot was the Councilors Cruise. The new food, new hairstyles, new items and Importantly new Lore/Characters from Subeta❤️❤️❤️
omg nice!! Who was your favourite new character from that plot? Mine was a tie between Connor and Dmitri :3
Mine were Connor Shadowglen and Gregory Riverside Valley x3 What was your favorite thing to collect? It was a really hard tie for me with the food and hairstyles xP I was hoping they would do a plot later showing Connor's Bravery or Courage in some form, but I'm not sure they ever did 🫤
Definitely the food for me! I loved seeing the new hairstyles though, even knowing I wasn't going to use them considering I was very attached to my Lobster Face since Survival of that year.
I liked Connor's role in the Shengui Guo plot even if it wasn't much. I hope they bring back the whole council in some future event even if it's just something small!
It's been several days, and I had to come back here just to gush about some of my fave Subeta memories some more. I just finished rereading the 2018 Morostide plot and was struck by the intense memory of how much I LOVED it. It's still one of my favourite pieces of interactive internet fiction to this day, and it still managed to make me very emotional! I'm glad it's been archived in almost its entirety so I can go back and relive it again and again.
